I've been absent on my blog. It's a busy time and I'm trying to do everything, but some things slip by, like blogging all of the cards I make!

This card was for a workshop last month. I love the layers and how the bow and the background dots add texture. I hope you enjoy the color combination, too. I made this from catalog inspiration!

Gathered Leaves Sympathy

Happy Monday. It's been awhile since I've posted. I am glad you stopped by today to see my card. I popped up the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper after die cutting the oval through the paper and the card stock base. I stamped the greeting before adhering the Very Vanilla piece to the back of the card front.

I added the leaves die cut and embossed from the Gathered Leaves die cuts. Then I added a bow using the Forever Greenery Vanilla open weave ribbon. My last element was the sparkle of one Gilded Gem. My sentiment is from Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.

Thanks for looking! I hope you will take the time to leave me a comment.

Falling for Leaves Card Set

I get my ideas for cards from all over the place. There are so many people who share their love of paper crafting via the internet, much to my advantage!

The four above cards were designed by Ronda Wade and Julie Salva of "Creating for Christ." You can join their group on Facebook and receive all kinds of support for your faith journey in Christ and lots of ideas for creating beautiful paper items.

These cards came as part of a sampler kit (nine 3" x 3" items to adhere to a 12" x 12" piece of card stock and mounted in a scrapbook page frame) which came with all pieces cut for you. All you have to do is stamp! When I get a frame, I will mount my squares and share them with you.

I've already ordered the Christmas version, which ships mid-November.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to create. Please use my Online Store for your Stampin' Up! purchases.

Something Good to Eat

Friends were coming over to dinner and my husband decided to gift them these cute pumpkins he found at Sur La Table. They were on sale! We filled them with Hershey's Kisses and then I went into my studio to doll them up.

I used some leftover Very Vanilla Stitched Shapes and added some leftover Copper Foil pumpkins from Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits and a tiny piece of Black Mini Sequin Trim. My sentiment is from "Something Good to Eat" (September 2016 Paper Pumpkin) and is stamped in Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake card stock and cut with a 1" Circle Punch. The Black Chevron Ribbon is retired, as is the Gold Cording I used to tie my tag onto the ceramic pumpkin dish.

I'm so glad you stopped by today! Please leave me a comment so I know you were here!

Pick A Pumpkin Get Well

I was inspired by Windy Ellard to make this fall card. I turned mine into a Get Well card. I also added the Brick Wall element because I wanted to s-t-r-e-t-c-h the use of my Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper!

This lovely textured and layered card will be going to a special lady who is recovering from surgery. The beauty of Windy's design is that you can use this card for birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations and even Thanksgiving!

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you are inspired to create your own card using your favorite stamps, inks and tools. Please let me know if I can help you in any way!

Painted Harvest Thankful Card

I love that the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is also an IDEA book! Here is a sample that I made using the Catalog photos. It's so fun when you see a card that you want to duplicate and you already own all of the "ingredients" to make one yourself! Holding a card in your hands is always better than seeing a photo.

On several catalog pages you will see a little area like this one where it tells you all of the supplies you would need to make the sample card. Makes it easy to shop right from this list, too!

This is also an easy card to mass produce, so if you wanted to give everyone in your family a nice Thanksgiving greeting, this would be quick yet beautiful!

Online Extravaganza Preview and Runner Up Card

Yesterday's PPA Challenge card was more true the sketch than this one, which was actually my first attempt! I planned on putting the three leaves in a vertical row, but they were too big. So I grouped them and tied them. Then I added a gold horizontal piece. Then I added a large oval with a sentiment. Then when I came back to reality and I realized that the sketch was not really followed! So, I tried again and the result was on Thursday's post for PPA.

Thanks for looking! I hope you will leave me a comment. Which card did you like more? I liked this one so much that we made it at my Workshop this week!

Happy Scenes CASE from Convention

At the Stampin' Up! Convention last month, there were a lot of boards set up with cards that were designed using new stamp sets and tools that are coming out September 1st. This is one of the cards that was up on the board and it's my version of the card, so that means I CASEd it. CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. That means that those who create love to share, and those who are browsing, love to copy!
The lovely bow is the Gold Cording, which makes it return to Stampin' Up! September 1st
My card base is Crumb Cake, then the Into the Woods DSP print is framed using Early Espresso card stock. My window is Basic Black cut out using the new Hearth and Home Framelits. I love these things! They and the stamp set Happy Scenes are my favorite bundle from the new catalog! You save 15% by buying the bundles.

I used my Stampin' Write Markers and my ink pads with blender pens to color the pumpkin Happy Scene. My window is popped up over the scene using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The "celebrate the season" sentiment is stamped using VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder, which was set using a heat gun.

I hope you enjoyed looking and that you will please leave a comment for me below!

PPA222 Color Challenge

Welcome to another Pals Paper Arts Challenge! This week we have colors and they are so fun! "Early Calypso Saffron" if you run them all together.

I thought about filling up my white space with rows and rows of the acorns from "For All Things" in all three colors, but then when I saw the first row, I thought it was enough! I added a border of So Saffron and a knot tied in Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon. My card base is Early Espresso.

My sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso onto the "banner" stamped in So Saffron.

I hope you enjoyed looking today! Please take time to check out all of the Design Team's samples and those who linked their creations to the PPA site. You will be inspired!

Let me know what you think of my card. I love your comments!
