Truly Thankful for PPA271

Hi! Glad you stopped by today to see what I created using the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! I had so much fun coming up with this card. I love those teeny images and the way they are framed using the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch.
I used the September Paper Pumpkin Stamp set called Wickedly Sweet Treat. As the name sounds, there are also some stamps for Halloween. It's very versatile and that is one thing I've loved about Paper Pumpkin.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will leave a comment. Consider playing along with the Pals' challenge yourself! It's a way to push yourself while designing a card.

Just Because for PPA265

It's Thursday, so time to play along with the Pals at Pals Paper Arts! This week's sketch reminded me of a mini file folder, so I created the shape using Crushed Curry card stock with the Envelope Punch Board and the Tin of Cards Photopolymer stamp set. The Tin of Cards Stamp set is so versatile! I am using it a lot since I completed the cards that came in the set.

The Designer Paper is from the Into the Woods Designer Series paper pack. (Available September 1st). I used the Envelope Punch Board to make my envelope the A2 size, but then I cut off the flap and a bit below the flap so my "index card" would sort of stick out.

I decorated the tab portion of the card using the stamped sentiment and the leaves from the Square Pillow Box Thinlits, which also debut on September 1st. I tied a bow using Early Espresso and Rich Razzleberry Cotton Ribbon around the envelope shape.

I hope you enjoyed looking today! Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. You can leave them below!

Happy Scenes CASE from Convention

At the Stampin' Up! Convention last month, there were a lot of boards set up with cards that were designed using new stamp sets and tools that are coming out September 1st. This is one of the cards that was up on the board and it's my version of the card, so that means I CASEd it. CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. That means that those who create love to share, and those who are browsing, love to copy!
The lovely bow is the Gold Cording, which makes it return to Stampin' Up! September 1st
My card base is Crumb Cake, then the Into the Woods DSP print is framed using Early Espresso card stock. My window is Basic Black cut out using the new Hearth and Home Framelits. I love these things! They and the stamp set Happy Scenes are my favorite bundle from the new catalog! You save 15% by buying the bundles.

I used my Stampin' Write Markers and my ink pads with blender pens to color the pumpkin Happy Scene. My window is popped up over the scene using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The "celebrate the season" sentiment is stamped using VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder, which was set using a heat gun.

I hope you enjoyed looking and that you will please leave a comment for me below!
