Something Good to Eat

Friends were coming over to dinner and my husband decided to gift them these cute pumpkins he found at Sur La Table. They were on sale! We filled them with Hershey's Kisses and then I went into my studio to doll them up.

I used some leftover Very Vanilla Stitched Shapes and added some leftover Copper Foil pumpkins from Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits and a tiny piece of Black Mini Sequin Trim. My sentiment is from "Something Good to Eat" (September 2016 Paper Pumpkin) and is stamped in Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake card stock and cut with a 1" Circle Punch. The Black Chevron Ribbon is retired, as is the Gold Cording I used to tie my tag onto the ceramic pumpkin dish.

Pumpkin Thank You

All of my October customers got this sweet little 3 x 3" thank you in the mail after their orders. I got the idea from a card that Erica Cerwin made.

Hers was a full-sized card and had three pumpkins on the front, one stacked on top of the other. She used three colors.

I loved how she used the pumpkin thinlit, glued it onto a solid piece of card stock the same color and then fussy cut around the pumpkin.

The shadow created is very artistic. Texture comes from the background using Timeless Textures stamps and the Gold Metallic thread under the pumpkin.

The sentiment is stamped using the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and easily punched out with the Duet Banner Punch.

Pumpkin Thanks

My favorite framelits from the Holiday Catalog are most certainly Patterned Pumpkins! I love all of the ways you can arrange the pieces and how they cut out those cute pumpkins from Pick A Pumpkin stamps. Here I focused on the Basic Black using it for my card base as well as a couple of the leaves and those Black Rhinestones. I left the card base largely untouched for more of a dramatic background.

I stamped the small pumpkin in Craft White onto So Saffron Card Stock to give it that White Pumpkin look!
What do you think? I'd love to read your comments.

The Best Friends...

I gotta say, I love this Half Full stamp set! I framed my photo using a piece of Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I used just the sentiment but to make it special, I embossed it in gold and then cut it out using the Leaflets Framelits. I added another leaf in Copper Foil and one Whisper White branch from Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits.

The sentiment really sums up how I feel about these ladies in the photo with me!

Have a great day, and thank you for stopping by! Use my Online Store any time!

Pick A Pumpkin Get Well

I was inspired by Windy Ellard to make this fall card. I turned mine into a Get Well card. I also added the Brick Wall element because I wanted to s-t-r-e-t-c-h the use of my Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper!

This lovely textured and layered card will be going to a special lady who is recovering from surgery. The beauty of Windy's design is that you can use this card for birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations and even Thanksgiving!

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you are inspired to create your own card using your favorite stamps, inks and tools. Please let me know if I can help you in any way!
