Gratitude Sampler is Finished

I promised I would post the Gratitude Sampler from Creating for Christ as soon as I got it framed. Here it is! I love how it looks all framed. I will be replacing the 12" x 12" with a new sampler that is for Christmas. Check them out on Facebook if you want free instructions for their samplers. If you want to purchase their December kit: the deadline is Nov. 7th. All materials are provided and you can add the stamp set or framelits as needed, or make up your own items to place into the squares.

Thank you for visiting today! Find something to be grateful every day!

Falling for Leaves Card Set

I get my ideas for cards from all over the place. There are so many people who share their love of paper crafting via the internet, much to my advantage!

The four above cards were designed by Ronda Wade and Julie Salva of "Creating for Christ." You can join their group on Facebook and receive all kinds of support for your faith journey in Christ and lots of ideas for creating beautiful paper items.

These cards came as part of a sampler kit (nine 3" x 3" items to adhere to a 12" x 12" piece of card stock and mounted in a scrapbook page frame) which came with all pieces cut for you. All you have to do is stamp! When I get a frame, I will mount my squares and share them with you.

I've already ordered the Christmas version, which ships mid-November.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to create. Please use my Online Store for your Stampin' Up! purchases.

Painted Harvest Thankful Card

I love that the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is also an IDEA book! Here is a sample that I made using the Catalog photos. It's so fun when you see a card that you want to duplicate and you already own all of the "ingredients" to make one yourself! Holding a card in your hands is always better than seeing a photo.

On several catalog pages you will see a little area like this one where it tells you all of the supplies you would need to make the sample card. Makes it easy to shop right from this list, too!

This is also an easy card to mass produce, so if you wanted to give everyone in your family a nice Thanksgiving greeting, this would be quick yet beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you will come back again soon. Shop my Online Store any time!

VERY Last Chance for Sale-A-Bration!!

The above card was made using You Brighten My Day -- just ONE of the free items you could select by ordering $50 worth of product, but only for the next few hours--the very last hours of Stampin' Up's yearly Sale-A-Bration! Actually, this is the first card I made using this stamp set! I got so many free goodies during Sale-A-Bration that I could not use them all before the sale is running out!

I was inspired the sample in the Mar/Apr Stampin' Success, which is the magazine all Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive as one of the perks of signing up! It's not too late to sign up and take advantage of SAB! See more details here
Place your orders ASAP for your benefits.

My last workshop ladies got to make this fun and quick card! Let me know if you are interested in hosting a Class or Workshop. I am in the Orange County, CA area.

November Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the November Pals Blog Hop. We are thankful you stopped by! This month we are showcasing projects that show our thanks, including both thank you and Thanksgiving themed projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from stop #22 Lisa Ann Bernard's Queen B Creations. You are on stop #23. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog to see all of the amazing projects.

My first card's base is the Under the Tree Specialty designer series paper. Meant to be Christmas themed, this bold Early Espresso stripe can be used for any occasion. I added a burlap leaf cut with Autumn Accents Die as a base for the sentiment leaf cut from Crumb Cake. I stamped a sentiment from For All Things in Early Espresso ink. I accented my leaf with a Very Vintage button tied with Linen Thread. Underneath the leaves is a band cut from the same designer series paper, but I turned it over and used the opposite side. I adde a piece of Venetian Crochet Trim using Mono adhesive.

I changed the elements on this card. I used the same Autumn Accents Bigz Die, but I used two leather scraps in brown and red. On to of those I added another leaf cut from a piece of Burlap Ribbon. There is a Naturals designer button on top of the smallest leaf. Under my sentiment and leaves is a band made from Cotton Ribbon.

Give Thanks

Hello! Wanting to use my new "For All Things" stamp set and the colors Soft Suede, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry, led me to make this card.

I began by making my own custom designer paper. My Very Vanilla card stock was stamped with the same leaf image in each of the three colors. I overlapped them and left little blank space.

Across the top, I hung my Banner Punches from Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper. They are hung on a Dotted Scallop Ribbon punched in Soft Suede card stock. There is also a piece of Linen Thread tied across the top. I put an In Color star or heart sequin on each of the banners.

For my sentiment, I used an oval cut from the Ovals Collection Framelits on Very Vanilla card stock. It's swabbed with a bit of Soft Suede ink on the edges. I used a Sponge Dauber to accomplish this. The acorns from For All Things are stamped in Early Espresso ink and the sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede ink.

I'd love to read your comments if you'd leave one below! Have a great day!
