Wreath Cards with Stamparatus

Colors: Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake
Stamps: Colorful Seasons

I finally had a chance to learn how to create wreath cards using the Stamparatus. Once you get the general idea, it's so fun and easy. The possibilities are endless for creating wreaths! You can use words, leaves, flowers, pumpkins, ornaments, snowflakes, etc! Good for any holiday or occasion.

Colors: Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede
Stamp Set: Pop of Paradise

My experience is that the smaller the image, the smaller the square you can use. Here I placed the pineapples on the diamond instead of the square.

If you are interested in learning how to create wreath cards using any stamp images, just go onto YouTube and do a search. There are many tutorials and I used a few to get the idea and the best hints to make it work. Most of all, don't forget to purchase a Stamparatus!

Wedding Wishes for a Special Couple

When I first married 37 years ago, we went to a lot of weddings! Now I am in the season of attending weddings of my kids' friends and my friends' kids! It's awesome to have weddings at least a couple of times per year again.

I used Craft White ink on the Brick Wall TIEF and ran it through the Big Shot with Soft Sky card stock. I let it dry while I was creating the Stitched Shapes Framelit with my sentiment. I added some stamped and fussy cut flowers and leaves and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to lift it off the wall.  Lastly, I added an easy-to-tie bow using Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron Ribbon. I say 'easy' because this ribbon is so soft and pliable that it IS easy to tie into a bow or knot! I love it and will be acquiring more colors ASAP!

Thank you for stopping by today! Won't you take a moment to leave a comment so I know you were here? Thank you!

Congratulations! Well Done!

One week from today, our son graduates from the Police Academy and begins a job as an officer in a local city. We are so proud! I made this card using Night of Navy and Smoky Slate Card Stock with Whisper White accents.

The badge from the My Hero stamp set is perfect here, stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. I used a Blender Pen and a pool of Night of Navy ink to color in the "#1" circle. I perfectly punched it out using the Best Badge Punch.

The "CONGRATULATIONS" sentiment is from One Wild Ride. I framed it using the Bunch of Banners Framelits.

I'm glad you looked today. I invite you to shop my Online Store any time!

One Wild Ride for the PPA312

I have several male relatives with birthdays this fall and I'm going to be ready! Luckily the one this is for also rides a motorcycle, so this set, One Wild Ride is perfect! This is my first card with this set and it's for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge starting today.

The card came together fast, all I had to do was choose a background and colors. The stamp set provided all the other elements to put in place of those circles on the sketch above.
One Wild Ride 141721 Wood Mount $29
141724 Clear Mount $21
Cut it out perfectly with the Best Badge Punch 140633 $18

What do you think? I love this set and I know it will get much use from me. I'd love to read your comments.

Feeling Appreciated for Pals Paper Arts 309

Pals Paper Arts colors this week were fun to play with. Sorry my Island Indigo looks more blue in the photo. I loved trying out the very new Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits for this card. SO easy to get this large bloom stamped and perfectly cut out using my Big Shot and the matching thinlits! This "bloom" also makes for a lovely tree when used with the trunk provided in the stamp set and thinlit set!

Order the bundle August 2-31 while supplies last!
144328 Thoughtful Branches Bundle   $52
143539 Thoughtful Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set  $27
143538 Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies  $31

Here you can see that I popped up the bloom using tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals and I also popped up my banner with the sentiment. I meant for the enamel hearts to be slightly off ;-)

You're So Sweet--Enjoy a Treat!

The Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder was my MUST HAVE from the new Annual Catalog. I couldn't wait to use it. Here I used it so that the mortar looks like it's oozing sloppily from the bricks. Most other people have used it the opposite way, having the bricks looked like they are neatly mortared. I like it either way! The great thing about this embossing folder is it is 6" x 6" instead of the normal
4-1/2" x 6-3/16" as most of the folders are. This means you can emboss more surface area for a wider variety of projects.

My sentiment from You're So Sweet is stamped onto Whisper White using Delightful Dijon ink. Then I stamped the framed sentiment "just for you" in Mossy Meadow onto Whisper White. I cut out just the frame using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies and it made an excellent frame for my sentiment. I popped the frame up on some Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a black designer button tied with Linen Thread and slipped a length of the new Striped Cotton Ribbon behind it. It's Mossy Meadow. I think this will make an excellent birthday card. There will be a stamped birthday cake of some sort on the inside when I'm ready to send it off.

Thanks for coming by today! I hope you will leave me a comment!
