Always and Forever

I couldn't help but add this retired Petal pink twine behind my sentiment

This note card was fun to make. I love the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series paper. This particular print has foil embossed writing, perfect for a background.

The Petal Pink Rhinestone gems match the paper much better in person

That background paper lets these lovely flowers from the Forever Blossoms stamp set do all the talking after I stamped them using Black Memento ink and quickly added some color with my Petal Pink light and dark Stampin' Blend markers. The blossoms are easily die cut using the Cherry Blossoms dies.

Birthday or Wedding Stitches?

I had so much fun creating this card. It's so pretty! I love the colors and the stamp font and those lovely stitches!

What do you think? Would you use this for a wedding card or a birthday card?

You are looking at the Stitched Labels Framelits and the Stitched All Around stamp sentiment and border design. I couldn't help finishing with pearls and Whisper White 1/8" ribbon. That tear in the Coastal Cabana frame shows off one of the framelits that makes a stitched pattern for you to use as a background.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you will "vote" in my comment section and let me know what you would use this lovely card for.

Wedding Wishes for a Special Couple

When I first married 37 years ago, we went to a lot of weddings! Now I am in the season of attending weddings of my kids' friends and my friends' kids! It's awesome to have weddings at least a couple of times per year again.

I used Craft White ink on the Brick Wall TIEF and ran it through the Big Shot with Soft Sky card stock. I let it dry while I was creating the Stitched Shapes Framelit with my sentiment. I added some stamped and fussy cut flowers and leaves and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to lift it off the wall.  Lastly, I added an easy-to-tie bow using Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron Ribbon. I say 'easy' because this ribbon is so soft and pliable that it IS easy to tie into a bow or knot! I love it and will be acquiring more colors ASAP!

Flourishing Anniversary & Gift Tag

New In Color Tranquil Tide pairs perfectly with the retired Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper

A couple I know were about to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. HE surprised HER with two nights at a local resort. On the second night, he took her to their church chapel on the way to "dinner" to light a candle and pray for their marriage. When they opened the chapel doors, there stood one of their pastors, and he greeted HER and said, "Welcome to your renewal of vows." SHE was surprised and they recommitted themselves to their marriage vows in a beautiful and touching ceremony, which my husband and I were so touched by. Of course, I had to make a card to celebrate the occasion.

Remember yesterday's card with that cute and lacey-looking butterfly? This is where I got the butterfly from! I don't like to throw away scraps, so I used an inspiration out of the Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog to create the tag on the clear box from yesterday.

Even though I knew we were giving the couple a bottle of wine to celebrate, I completely forgot about decorating the bottle! The bag is a retired Stampin' Up! item and I used the Large Numbers Thinlits with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and the Brushwork Alphabet and Thoughtful Banners stamp sets for my sentiment.

Marriage is a Journey

Here's that Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder again! I just love the dramatic and textured background it provides for a host of cards.

I am loving the new In Colors (available June 1) Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist. They are officially my favorites of the five. Paired up with the neutral Basic Gray, I think they make a bright and cheery card. I layered the Flourish Thinlit flower and stem and added a retired It's My Party Enamel dot for the center of the flower.

Thanks for looking today! I hope you will choose my Online Store for your Stampin' Up! purchases. I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Wedding Card for PPA248

Welcome to this week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge. I loved playing this time, as the sketch was simple and it looked like a square shape to me, which gets me out of my comfort zone!

I made this card sort of out of order! I began with the banner across the top of all the other elements. I took one of the sentiment stamps from For The New Two and inked only one line at a time to create one long line instead of two short ones on top of one another. I used Baked Brown Sugar ink. Then I trimmed each end to look like a banner.

Next, I cut out my beautiful butterfly from Pear Pizzazz card stock using the Butterflies Thinlits Die. If you run it through the Big Shot twice, the piece comes out so easily.

Underneath the butterfly is the Kraft card stock rectangle that is textured with the Happy Heart Textured Embossing Folder.

I thought it needed one more layer and decided on Whisper White card stock. It looked a little plain when I set it behind the elements, so I chose one of the flower stamps from the same stamp set and I made my own designer series paper using Pool Party ink to match my card base. I added a few speckles with stamped-off Baked Brown Sugar ink.

My square envelope has the same flower image stamped in Sahara Sand and stamped-off Pool Party.
