Quick Floral Thank You Note Cards

Add a professional look by stamping a few blooms on the envelope

Because our Note Cards are smaller than a normal card you would cut from an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock, they are much quicker to decorate using stamps and ink! This week I needed a half dozen "THANK YOU's" and I did them relatively quickly, beginning with our Whisper White pre-cut bases (131527 20 cards and envelopes $6) They also come in Crumb Cake.

I chose three beautiful blossoms from Petite Petals. Next, I chose three ink colors: Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder. I stamped 2-3 of each bloom in one of the colors and made the pattern random so I could just go from card front to card front. I was finished in a snap! I left a little room on the right bottom corner for the sentiment from Thoughtful Branches (in Elegant Eggplant). In about 5 minutes I had my cards ready to be filled out and mailed!

I hope you are inspired by my cards today. Would you let you know you were here by leaving your comment below? I'd appreciate it!

Housewarming Card

Happy Thursday! I haven't had much time for creating, but needed a card to go with a housewarming gift. A young couple I know are moving into their first house and I purchased some fun things they can use around the house. The gifts were placed into a burlap-covered bin, and included candles, a wooden "M" for their last name, some Valentine paper plates and napkins and an enamel photo frame. The candles were my color inspiration for this card: Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz.

I certainly used a lot of Stampin' Up products to create this card, but I hadn't used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set in a very long time. The sentiment comes from the Better Together stamp set, which I hadn't inked up yet. You can see how all of the stamp sets, old and new can work together to make a lovely card.

Thanks for looking today! I hope you are inspired and that you will leave me a comment so I know you looked.

Sealed with Love Valentine Card

Some months ago I found a very cute card on Sarah'sInkSpot.com where she used the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits. I CASEd the card and have had it up on my shelf since then. I love it! It's so pretty. Today I re-vamped the copy and made it my own be eliminating an Early Espresso border between the Whisper White and Pink Pirouette. Also, I used Sealed with Love or my sentiment instead of a sentiment from Thoughtful Branches.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. Won't you take a minute and leave me a comment? Thank you!

Invitation For You

I set out to make a handsome birthday card, but instead I ended up making this wreath card that I will use for an invitation. All of my local Paper Pumpkin customers are going to be invited to have tea at my house in December! I want to thank each of them for joining me in loving our monthly Paper Pumpkin kits!

I used a Very Vanilla card base. I layered on a piece of Soft Suede. I stamped the wreath from the Wondrous Wreath photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede and then the second layer in VersaMark, heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. Next, I cut out the wreath and a bow using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies and Gold Foil card stock. Stunning!

The last thing I added was a 1-1/4" band across the bottom. I stamped "For You" from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set using VersaMark and Gold embossing powder.

What do you think? I will also be making birthday cards using the same outline but a different sentiment. I think it's perfect for masculine OR feminine.

I'd love to read your comments and just to know you are "out there" following along!

Thoughtful Branches Trio of Projects

I love this watercolor background, which was created using Water Color Paper and the leaves image over and over. It was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed using White Embossing Powder. The last step is simply to wash on color using an Aqua Painter. The dark leaves were stamped over the wash using Early Espresso ink.

This beautiful white on white card has a heat-embossed background using the trees and swirls from the stamp set. The Whisper White tree has two cute Watermelon Wonder birds.

Lastly, this gorgeous extra large box made with the Gift Box Punch Board holds some fabulous sweets. It was easy to stamp the dots (embossed with Copper Embossing Powder) and then decorate with the tree leaves cut out from the Beautiful Branches Thinlits.

Here you can see just how beautiful that Copper Embossing powder is. It can really step up your projects.

I hope you enjoyed my projects. They were completed using an idea sheet directly from Stampin' Up!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for August 2016.  We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring projects using our favorite Stampin’ Up! cutting tools. There are so many wonderful punches, framelits and edgelits available that help make papercrafting more detailed and fun! We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

I wanted to combine punching and die-cutting, so my cutting tools on this Thoughtful Branches card were the Beautiful Branches Thinlits and Bunch of along with the Classic Label Punch.

One thing I really like doing is finding just the right Designer Series paper to use with punching or die-cutting. This tiny print from Affectionately Yours works so well as the leaves on my tree! And those bitty birds perfectly hang my sentiment cut using the Classic Label Punch.

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

Heart For You - Thoughtful Branches

I am so glad I purchased the Thoughtful Branches stamp set (and matching Beautiful Branches Thinlits, although not used here). They are proving to be a very useful set!

This card is also a wonderful combination of Flirty Flamingo and Pacific Point OR Dapper Denim. The sweet little birds are stamped in Pacific Point and the Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon does seem to match, right?

My sentiment is stamped onto a Sweet and Sassy Heart Framelit and I used the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give my card even more love!

Thank you for looking today. I truly hope you are inspired to create your own card or project. I'd love to read your comments, so please leave one if you can.

Thoughtful Branches For You PPA310

I love how this card turned out! The Pals Paper Arts sketch by   Maggie Mata is darling. I used my new (and so fun) Thoughtful Branches stamp set (sentiment) and Beautiful Branches Thinlits as the main focus of my card.

And, I love the new style of doily we have, Delicate White Doilies. It was the perfect backdrop for my tree. The tree cut out expertly and quickly using the Big Shot and the new thinlits.

Feeling Appreciated for Pals Paper Arts 309

Pals Paper Arts colors this week were fun to play with. Sorry my Island Indigo looks more blue in the photo. I loved trying out the very new Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits for this card. SO easy to get this large bloom stamped and perfectly cut out using my Big Shot and the matching thinlits! This "bloom" also makes for a lovely tree when used with the trunk provided in the stamp set and thinlit set!

Here you can see that I popped up the bloom using tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals and I also popped up my banner with the sentiment. I meant for the enamel hearts to be slightly off ;-)
