Clean and Simple for PPA289

Time for a color challenge at Pals Paper Arts. I knew just what I wanted to do when I looked at the Botanicals for You stamp set. I earned it free for my $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. I started right out by making my own designer series paper. I stamped each teeny flower in Blushing Bride ink and then added Pear Pizzazz stems.

Then, I just added my Night of Navy sentiment and my card was almost finished. Adding this panel to the Crumb Cake card base added a nice neutral touch. What do you think? This is an easy card to make multiples of. I hope I have inspired you to make a card or two.

Flowering Fields for PPA287

Do you love free stamps and paper as much as I do? Then this post is perfect for you! I answered the color challenge at Pals Paper Arts and I used three items from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I them earned by purchasing $150 in Stampin' Up! products. Of course I still earned 10% on my order as well--more freebies! 

Here you can see that I stamped the flowers from Flowering Fields in VersaMark and embossed with Clear embossing powder. I used my Blender Pen to pull color from the lids of the Calypso Coral and Old Olive ink pads and colored the leaves and flowers.

Lost Lagoon is the color of this print from the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper as well as my card base. I used Lost Lagoon ink to stamp the birthday sentiment from the free Sky is the Limit stamp set (today is the last day to get this stamp set free!). My "button" is four layers of Basic Black card stock punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I glued them together and added an Old Olive Baker's Twine bow. I love the black as it adds a crispness to the other colors.

Wild, Flowering Fields for PPA286

Happy Thursday! It's another Sketch Challenge, this week by Linda Callahan at Pals Paper Arts. I hope you will go on over to our blog and see what the Design Team members have created to inspire YOU.

I hadn't used my Wildflower Fields Designer Series paper yet, so that is where I began when I looked at the sketch. Also new was my Flowering Fields stamp set, which is where the stems come from. Matching colors in the DSP, I stamped the stems in Old Olive ink. My sentiment is from Six-Sided Sampler and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.

Birthday Stars for PPA283

This week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge is simply to use the colors Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Basic Black, or other colors that are close to these. 

So many stars! I am disappointed in how my photo doesn't show the embossed stars on the Basic Black bottom panel :-(

I wanted to tie all of my elements together for the "star" theme on my Whisper White note card.

This photo is a bit better. I do need a new camera. I've been having difficulty with it. I hope you enjoyed seeing my creation. If you are inspired, you can play along at Pals Paper Arts!
