Just For You

This card is for my nephew, who has a Christmas Eve Birthday. It's hard not to forget to send a card in all the hustle and bustle each year. He's now 20!

This view shows the silver heat embossed sentiment from "Botanicals for You", which will be available to earn free with any $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration beginning January 4th, 2016.

I get very excited each year for Sale-A-Bration time! It's always fun getting free products, right? This is my only large sentiment stamp set, as usually I do not fancy them, but this time I do!

Here is the simple inside, another sentiment from the same set. Perfect for any age person.

Please use my Online Store to purchase your Stampin' Up! If you do not already have a demonstrator and would like an Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, please email me: patimac1980@yahoo.com
I appreciate your business--it keeps me in cards! :-)

I really love comments. Won't you leave me one?

Ready With Thanks

This card is embellished with a snowflake from Frosted Sequins.

These first five card designs were whipped up in my studio so fast! I used the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack from the Holiday Catalog, some "thank you" themed stamp sets and a few embellishments. Each set of four cards went to a Facebook friend who had "signed up" with me at the beginning of the year for a Pay It Forward campaign. I'm hoping the recipients could use a few Thank You cards around Christmas time!

This simple beauty has a chevron piece from Essentials Wooden Elements.

This card features Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon.

I used the snowflake from Snowflake Card Thinlits Die and a Full Heart Punch to trim this sweater print.

This card has a Star Thinlit cut from Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper. I added Linen Thread, a neutral Designer Button and "thank you" punched with the Bitty Banners Framelits.

This last card is special. My friend, Jacquelyn showed us how to make this during our mountain cabin getaway I mentioned yesterday. A simple, yet beautiful way to say "thank you!"

I hope you enjoyed looking and that you will leave a comment below.

Frozen Snowflake Tags

My nieces love the movie "Frozen" (I know, what kid doesn't?), so I made these gift tie-ons to match some snowflake paper on their Christmas gifts. The idea started with the package of "Frozen" Jelly Bellys that I split between two small cello bags.

The tags are Stars Framelit die cut from Wisteria Wonder and embellished with a silver foil snowflake that was in the November Paper Pumpkin. On top of the snowflake, I added an All Is Calm Snowflake. The charm has a Basic Pearl that I colored with a turquoise Sharpie. I tied it to the cello bag using a leftover piece of Silver Baker's twine also from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Thanks for looking today. I hope your holiday preparations are coming along just swell. Please leave me a comment--they really help me create!

Cherry Vanilla Brown Sugar Christmas for PPA

Welcome to this week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge! I love this color combo! This will be my main Christmas card sent this year. I used the Bright and Beautiful Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.

Details on this card are the embossed sentiment (Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder and...

...this star that has just a little sparkle from the Wink of Stella pen, which lets you put the sparkle exactly where you want it. Of course the bling of the Vintage Faceted Button and a Basic Rhinestone pull all of the holiday sparkle together.

I hope you enjoyed looking today and that you will leave your comments below!

Double-Z Fold with Stars!

Happy Saturday! I have a new card. I have tried to make this Double-Z Fold Card for awhile. The card base has been on my desk for weeks!

I simply decorated the outer "shutters" with some leftover star framelits cut from In Colors Designer Series Stack and each adorned with a Foil Sheet Starburst cut with the Starburst Framelits. One little "celebrate" cut from an image in the Starburst Sayings Stamp set and I was almost finished. My last element was a Hello Honey piece of 3/8" stitched ribbon, which I adhered in the middle of the back of the card with a glue dot, then tied in a bow in front.

I hope you enjoyed looking today. If you would like to make a Double-Z Fold card, you can look up the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.

Happy Birthday, Star!

This star-shaped card is directly from the 2014-2015 Idea Book & Catalog. You can find it on page 135 in the upper right corner. Sometimes I an stuck for ideas, so I will look through my catalog. There is always something that I have all of the supplies for, or can adapt to the supplies I do have on hand.

Here is a close up so you can see the elements it takes to put this card together. The star card base is a folded piece of Hello Honey card stock and I used the largest Stars Framelit to cut it out. The next smaller-sized star framelit was used for the Hello Honey Designer Series Paper Stack print. I used another star to make it into a frame. I scored from the inside edge of the star to the tips for folding into a 3-D effect. Then another star was cut out of Gold Glimmer paper to shine inside the frame. My final star was cut from Gold Glimmer paper using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch. My banners with the sentiment are cut from the smallest Banners Framelit.

I hope you enjoyed looking! I would love to read your comments!
