Texture Chic Thank You

This Thank You card came together just because all of the "igredients" were on my workspace and they looked good together! I used the stamp set "Good Feelings" and then die cut the sentiment and border using Layering Circles Dies. Next, I cut a piece of the FREE (Sale-A-Bration) Silver and Gold Specialty paper and matted it with Gold Foil. The card base from Texture Chic Memories and More Cards and Envelopes was the perfect background. For a finishing touch I added a few 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

Celebrate You

I love this layout! I saw it on a card by Nikki Spencer and I quickly got my own color scheme together by choosing Petal Garden Designer Series Paper.

What a fun way to celebrate an accomplishment, birthday or even an anniversary. Using up scraps of paper is never a bad thing, either, which was quickly accomplished using the Tailored Tag Punch. Earn the Celebrate You Thinlits by purchasing $100 in products during Sale-A-Bration.

I'm glad you came by today. Won't you take a moment to leave a comment before you move along? I love to know that you were here.

Thank You So Very Much Sale-A-Bration 2017

Today's card was inspired by a very similar card in the Stampin' Success Magazine, which all Demonstrators receive.  There are always inspirational cards, workshop ideas and hobby or business tips in each issue. The articles and featured projects are from corporate or fellow demonstrators. There is always something to learn when the issue arrives. When you purchase your starter kit, you will begin receiving your Stampin' Success!

This card was stamped using the So Very Much stamp set y0u earn FREE during Sale-A-Bration for ordering $50 in products. When you have such a large sentiment, you don't have to add a lot of other elements to your card and you can make several at a time. By stamping the sentiment twice (in Emerald Envy and Pool Party), I created this shadow effect. My other ink color "for the gift" is done in Night of Navy. The strip of paper is from Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper. I tied a bow using White Baker's Twine.

This is a great time of year to sign up for the Ultimate Bundle! Stampin' Up! offers $125 worth of any product (you choose) and you pay just $99 plus tax! There is NO SHIPPING charge! PLUS, you get to choose any TWO STAMP SETS for FREE (through March 31st)!!

Your demonstrator discount and status will remain active through June 30th even if you do not purchase anything after your kit. You are not obligated to buy anything more, you are not obligated to hold workshops, and you are not obligated to sell any products.

What a great time to treat yourself or give crafty gifts throughout the year using your discount!

I'd love you to join with ME!

VERY Last Chance for Sale-A-Bration!!

The above card was made using You Brighten My Day -- just ONE of the free items you could select by ordering $50 worth of product, but only for the next few hours--the very last hours of Stampin' Up's yearly Sale-A-Bration! Actually, this is the first card I made using this stamp set! I got so many free goodies during Sale-A-Bration that I could not use them all before the sale is running out!

I was inspired the sample in the Mar/Apr Stampin' Success, which is the magazine all Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive as one of the perks of signing up! It's not too late to sign up and take advantage of SAB! See more details here.
Place your orders ASAP for your benefits.

My last workshop ladies got to make this fun and quick card! Let me know if you are interested in hosting a Class or Workshop. I am in the Orange County, CA area.

Happy Birthday for a Teen Boy

Today's card is for our nephew who is a teenager. He likes a certain college football team and I have used two of their colors on this card. In Stampin' Up color language, the colors are Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry. Can you guess which college football team he loves?

My inspiration was this card by Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty. Mary is my upline and friend and I am always excited to see her almost-daily creations. Her clean and simple style and how she uses different things as her inspiration are a huge help to those of us who need a little help in the inspiration department!

My stamp set "Big Day" and my Blendabilities Daffodil Delight Collection are free items in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. You can choose one item free when you purchase any $50 in Stampin' Up! products. (UPDATE: Blendabilities are no longer available, sorry!)

I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today! Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think. And don't forget to leave your football team guess!!

Love Life Lemon

A Happy Thing. That's life! Here is a card made with the lemon image and the sentiment from A Happy Thing stamp set. This stamp set can be free (during Slae-A-Bration) for you when you place a $50 order of any Stampin' Up! products. It's perfect for using two OTHER free products from Sale-A-Bration: Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blendabilities marker sets!

The quickest way to look like a professional painter or water-color artist is to use Blendabilties! I won't tell! All you do is color with the darkest shades first and then blend using the lighter shade or shades. Each color, such as Daffodil Delight has three shades in the package: light, medium and dark.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope your day is a good one. Please leave your comments before you move along. I love reading each one. If you have any questions I can answer, please email me!

PPA238 Bike, Bike, Bike

Looking to make some Thank You cards to send friends that gave me birthday gifts, I made this sweet trio of bicycles. I couldn't help stamping the bicycle three times because it was so much fun to stamp! I am loving the Photopolymer stamps I've been getting lately. The bicycle is from Sheltering Tree and it's stamped in Basic Gray.

I needed a fun background, so I embossed the Pink Pirouette matt using the Large Polka Dots Embossing Folder and my Big Shot. The sentiment is from A Happy Thing in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. It's stamped in Rose Red ink. My bicycle frames are also Rose Red. Then I colored Basic Rhinestones using the Melon Mambo Blendabilities Pen.

Thanks for looking today. I hope you will be encouraged to play along at Pals Paper Arts this week!

Get Lotus Blossom Stamp Set -- FREE!

A stamp set called Lotus Blossom is making me look like an artist--all effortlessly! All you do is stamp three images, one on top of another and you have a lovely bloom that looks like it has been painted onto your paper!

I used Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette inks to make this beauty pop off the paper. The stem was done in Wild Wasabi and Mossy Meadow inks, also using two different images. I added a little "tab" of White Jute Ribbon and then hung a Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine with a knot at the bottom.

The only way to get this Lotus Blossom (139143) stamp set is to earn it *free* by purchasing $50 in Stampin' Up! products and then choosing it from the Sale-A-Bration brochure (on my right side bar). Shop my Online Store today!

Thank you for coming by today. Please leave your comments below. I enjoy each and every one! Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to answer them for you. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday! Celebrate!

This card is for my Aunt who lives in New Jersey. I hope it gets there in time with the weather they are having! Even if it's late, when she sees this happy, party-like card, she will smile!

I used Sale-A-Bration *free* stamp set Big Day for the sentiment. I used the three sentiment stamps in a vertical row, then colored them and made a banner of the strip. It's a copy of one in the Sale-A-Bration brochure, page 13.

What are you waiting for? Get your free products for each $50 purchase now through March 31st. No limits! There are plenty of items to choose from, so pick yours now. Use my Online Store to order.

Just For You

Inspired by Mary Fish's take on a Mojo Monday sketch a few weeks ago, I created the above card. It was easy for my workshop attendees to put together once I had cut everything out for them! I love the colors in this Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper. You can get your paper by placing an order 0f $50 and choosing the paper from the many items in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Click on the brochure on my right sidebar to see all of the items available.

My sentiment was made easy by using the "for you" from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies collection. There are two sentiments, a heart which will frame the Full Heart punch perfectly, a star shape, a row of dots, a row of stars a row of hearts, a piece of "washi tape" and a thin, tied bow. And, of course there is the bag shape. I'll be showing some samples tomorrow!

One Tag Fits All

Yesterday I told you that the card I began creating for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge was not the one I ended up posting. I've been away a lot and hadn't been able to sit down and create any cards. I got SO excited when I finally got a chance to spend some time in my studio! I chose the color scheme Night of Navy and Calypso Coral, inspired by the Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Right next to me on my desk was the One Tag Fits All stamp set and I wanted the "eat cake" sentiment. Of course I knew I would somehow incorporate the darling Calypso Coral Pom Pom Trim, too.

The sentiment is all one stamp, so I chose to color it withe my color scheme using my Stampin' Write Markers. Then I colored in the candle and added some dots to the frosting.

I'd love to hear your comments, please leave one for me.

Silvery Floral Thank You for PPA234

Welcome to my first post of 2015! Pals Paper Arts is celebrating today--a new beginning-- by using some classy and festive colors! I love using silver with Night of Navy, and after you do that, it's perfection to add Wisteria Wonder.

This is a Clean and Simple card, and it's whipped up so quickly using this 3-step Lotus Blossom stamp set. Perfect when you need multiple cards like now when you are thanking gift-givers after Christmas. A single bow in Silver 1/8" ribbon is a perfect match for the silver-embossed sentiment.

The photopolymer set has three layers to the blooms in various sizes, which have a tab that is labeled to help you know which to stamp first (1, 2 or 3) and then which direction to line them all up. The first layer is the smallest, which didn't make sense to me, but it works! The blooms come out like they are painted onto the card stock. I used Wisteria Wonder and Night of Navy inks to get this result. I snuck a little Pear Pizzazz stem under the bloom--shhh! Don't tell :-)

The Lotus Blossom stamp set will be available for *FREE* with your $50 purchase beginning January 6th. It's in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Each time you spend $50 on any Stampin' Up! product, you earn a free item from the brochure. There is no limit to how many items you can earn. It's a great time for hosting, too, as you receive $25 MORE in benefits if your workshop is $250 or more. That's a total of $50 in products and 5 free SAB items! Offer ends March 31st, 2015.

Sneak Peek: Sale-A-Bration

I received my Sale-A-Bration Banner Punch on Thursday! (SAB begins January 28th, 2014). Since I am doing well with my Christmas preparations, I ordered the *new* stamp set Follow My Heart, newly released and available for a limited time only.

It has an Eiffel Tower image...

...and a banner with a key and X-O-X-O. I made the banner by using the stamped image and the new Banner Punch. Isn't it cute? SO many fun ways to use it! (There's also a stamp set in the Occasions Catalog that has 7 banner images, called Banner Blast, but I didn't order that just yet).

Remember, during Sale-A-Bration (January 28-March 31, 2014) for each $50 in products you order from Stampin' Up! you receive one item *FREE*  Isn't that a great way to start off the New Year? (As a demonstrator, I can order any $50 in product and receive my *free* SAB items from December 1st! Oh, the benefits of being a SU Demo!!) You can order your starter kit any time using this link.

Another stamp in the Follow My Heart set (there are 4 total) is this lovely sentiment. I used Stampin' Write Markers to color it for the inside of my card. There is one more sentiment in the set, but I will have to finish more of my Christmas prep before I can play with that one!

I hope you enjoyed this break from Christmas cards and are excited for the Occasions Mini and SAB to begin in January!!
