Moon Baby Cuteness

I couldn't bear to part with the Moon Baby stamp set when it retired, so here I am creating with it-win!! I'm sure I will use it a lot. Aren't those clouds adorable? They are cut from the Up and Away Thinlits that go with the stamp set Lift Me Up (see yesterday's post if you missed it). Those clouds are invaluable for any sky scene, whether you stamp them first or just cut them out easily with the Big Shot. My card was inspired by Carl Arneson and I found it on Pinterest.

You can't really tell, but I used Wink of Stella on the clouds and the moon, baby and star. I love the sprinkle of shine it adds.

Thanks for looking! Go create something today! Shop with me any time.

Father's Day Plaid

You can definitely tell that I am trying to use up retiring designer series paper! The wonderful prints in this True Gentleman Designer Series Paper are so fun to play with, mix and match. This year I didn't buy every designer paper in the catalog, and I STILL have a good supply left!

If you are ever wondering if you will have enough when you buy a package, wonder no more! You can make dozens of cards from a single package.

My sentiment is from Guy Greetings (retiring oh, too soon for me!) and the little stamp on the left of the greeting is from the retiring Truly Tailored stamp set.  The Crushed Curry band across the middle is dry embossed using the Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Thanks for looking today! I hope you were inspired. I'd love to read your comments!

It's Your Day! Sparkly Birthday Greetings with Party Hat Birthday

Another Occasions Catalog (pg. 9) inspired card today. This one was made as a gift tag, and at the top there was a colorful Mini Binder Clip and a bow tied using White Baker's Twine.

I made the "gift tag" the focal point of my card, placed a tab and circle and tied a Silver 1/8" Ribbon bow, stuck on with a glue dot. My tag was then mounted onto the mat of Berry Burst that I embossed with the fun Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This card is like a party!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will ask me any questions you have about my cards or Stampin' Up! in general.
