Occasions Mini Products Are Here!

I'm in a silver mood! I have been using the Silver Foil paper for awhile now. It's so fun! (The gold is fun, too, but I prefer Silver!) It's a DREAM to punch or use the Big Shot and Framelits with!

Here I used the new Petite Petals Stamp Set (6 stamps) and matching Petite Petals Punch. I bought them as a bundle and saved 15%!

These lovely petals with Basic Rhinestone centers are each different, but all the same size. You can stamp then punch, or just punch out colors or patterns for your cards or scrapbook pages, gift tags or boxes. The possibilities are endless!

It's very hard to photograph the foil card stock since it's so shiny, but here is a close up of my banners. The bottom layer is the new Banners Framelits with Silver Foil paper. Next layer is Smoky Slate card stock which has stamped images from Banner Blast (Sale-A-Bration) in Bermuda Bay Ink. On top of the banner is a Little Labels Silver Foil punch out. The hearts on top of the mini stamp square are the same banners from Banner Blast stamped onto Coastal Cabana with Bermuda Bay Ink. I then used the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit to cut little hearts out. Each heart received a Basic Rhinestone embellishment.

The frame on my card is Brushed Silver card stock that has been run through the Big Shot using the new Scallops embossing folder.

What do you think? Are you excited about the new items? Have you ordered any? What is on your Wish List?

Congratulations to Angie Blake, who became my 100th follower! She is going to receive one of my hand made cards. Thank you all for being followers of Papercrafts by Patti. I appreciate each of you and the time you take to make comments! I will be doing a Blog Candy giveaway very soon!

PPA139 Sketch Challenge

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge! Our Pal, Margaret Moody has a great sketch for us to use this time. I loved working with it! I hope you will be inspired to use it to create, too! Don't forget to see what the entire Design Team has done at Pals Paper Arts!

I used the a la carte stamp "Two By Two" to begin this card. I used my best water coloring skills to make it colorful. I'm not a pro at water coloring, but this little sketch makes it pretty easy. If you never knew that giraffes were Pumpkin Pie-colored, now you do!

I hope you enjoyed my card and that you will leave a comment below!

Valentine Treats Without Sugar

I always remember my little neighbor girls with a sweet treat for holidays. I try to stay away from candy because I'm sure they get enough of that! This Valentine's Day, they will be getting these cute little bottles of hand sanitizer that I got for $1. Add a home made tag, and you have a *sweet* gift that won't send them to the dentist!

Don't forget to leave a comment - I like to read them all.

There is still time to "play" at Pals Paper Arts! Check out all of the submissions so far and be inspired to create and upload your own!

Cupid's Arrow for Pals Paper Arts

PPA128 Color Challenge: Use Any Red

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. Use any red! I hope you will play along with us and use any of your favorite RED products. When you post your card onto your blog or gallery, please label it PPA128.

I chose Stampin' Up's Poppy Parade for my "red" card stock base. It's perfect for a Valentine. My next layer is a Whisper White Framed Tulips embossed 4" x 5-1/4" panel. I "colored" the tulips using a Blender Pen and Poppy Parade ink. On top of that, I placed a Poppy Parade Top Note die that is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

This is the first time I've used White Waffle Paper and I absolutely love how the color underneath comes through a bit. It is so easy to create a ruffle anywhere with this paper.

The small Poppy Parade heart is from the Embosslits Fashionable Hearts die and the Large Poppy Parade Heart is from the Bigz Curly Label Die run through my Big Shot with the Movers and Shapers die. The small Silver Glimmer heart is punched using the Small Heart Punch. I stamped Cupid from P. S. I Love You in Poppy Parade and snipped him out, then placed him on top of the hearts using Stampin' Dimensionals.

My photography skillz don't quite show how sparkly this paper is! It's so easy to punch and create glittery items without the hassle and mess of glue and glitter.

My hand cut banner demands some lovin'! For more sparkle, I anchored it here with a Fire Circles large brad. The banner is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

This fancy card could not be without an inside that was bare, so I created this space to stamp and write on with a Whisper White Top Note die cut. I used a heart from P. S. I Love You, which I dipped in Poppy Parade ink, stamped off, then stamped onto the die cut. Over the heart, I stamped another sentiment in Basic Black ink from P. S. I Love You.

I'd love to know how you like this fancy Valentine. Please leave me a comment below.
