Wood Patterns and Itty Bitty Greetings

I was browsing Pinterest and came across this lovely layout on a "wood" inspired card by my friend and mentor, Mary Fish of Stampin' Pretty. I knew it WOOD be perfect for my workshop this month and I was right. The ladies loved all the wood tones, the texture from the new Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and all the combined browns in this card.

Each lady chose which sentiment she wanted on her card from the Itty Bitty Greetings, a new stamp set that has gotten so much use from me already! I know it will remain in my collection for a long time.

Sweet More Than Chocolate Note Card

Nothing like enjoying chocolates that are beautiful and calorie-free!! I loved creating each one in this heart-shaped box. Cut it out perfectly with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits and you have a beautiful and sweet note card to send. Imagine that silky Real Red Stitched ribbon wrapped around the outside of the box!

While I rarely decorate the inside of my cards, here is a teeny chocolate that I may have enjoyed while I was creating! :-)

The price of this stamp set is less than a pricey box of chocolates, is guilt-free and can be used over and over to create sweet "treats" to send away to friends and loved ones in need of a lift or encouragement!

Things Get Better with More Chocolate

Real Red, Powder Pink, Early Espresso. When I see these colors, I think Valentine's Day, but it would be so sad to wait for once a year to use them! Using the new More Than Chocolate stamp set, I created this lovely card to cheer someone up!

I had so much fun creating the chocolates in this box! They are calorie-free, so no guilt! I know that the sentiment framed by Lots of Labels Framelits will be appreciated by the recipient.

Flourishing Anniversary & Gift Tag

New In Color Tranquil Tide pairs perfectly with the retired Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper

A couple I know were about to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. HE surprised HER with two nights at a local resort. On the second night, he took her to their church chapel on the way to "dinner" to light a candle and pray for their marriage. When they opened the chapel doors, there stood one of their pastors, and he greeted HER and said, "Welcome to your renewal of vows." SHE was surprised and they recommitted themselves to their marriage vows in a beautiful and touching ceremony, which my husband and I were so touched by. Of course, I had to make a card to celebrate the occasion. 

Remember yesterday's card with that cute and lacey-looking butterfly? This is where I got the butterfly from! I don't like to throw away scraps, so I used an inspiration out of the Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog to create the tag on the clear box from yesterday.

Even though I knew we were giving the couple a bottle of wine to celebrate, I completely forgot about decorating the bottle! The bag is a retired Stampin' Up! item and I used the Large Numbers Thinlits with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and the Brushwork Alphabet and Thoughtful Banners stamp sets for my sentiment.

Rose Soap Leaves on Display

I am a volunteer tutor and we are having our end of year banquet tomorrow. I am hosting six ladies at my table, so I made each of them a special gift they can take home and use while on break this summer. I found the soap leaves, which are shaped into rose blooms, at World Market. They come 20 in a box and they come in different colors and scents. I chose all pink.

These gorgeous 2" x 2" clear boxes from Stampin' Up! have been sitting on my desk for quite awhile. I didn't know what I would do with them, but when I found those soap leaves, I was hoping several of the blooms would fit into them!

The only thing left to do was decorate the boxes. I chose "FOR YOU" from the May "Sprinkled with Love" Paper Pumpkin stamp set. Next to it on my Sweet & Sassy heart is a bloom from the Colorful Seasons stamp set (debuts June 1) stamped in the *new* Powder Pink ink and accented with Smoky Slate to match the Smoky Slate 1/8" Stitched Ribbon.
