Online Extravaganza and Mini Catalog Sneak Peek

Click to Download

November 20-22 only:
  • Stock up on things you’ve been wanting for a while—now’s the time! You probably can’t get enough of neutrals because they’re, well, neutral! Our Regals Collection is always a good way to step up your game. And who hasn’t fallen in love with our In Colors already!
On the left is one of our make and take cards. On the right is a card I copied from the upcoming Mini Catalog.

We are now full swing into Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas, but before we know it the Spring flowers and holidays will be upon us! These gorgeous tulip cards were made using the Timeless Tulips photopolymer stamps set and the Tulip Builder Punch. These items are just two of the offerings in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, which goes live January 3rd. I got to preview some of the products and see the entire catalog last weekend at On Stage in Las Vegas.

Let me tell you that the new mini catalog is larger than our usual Occasions mini and it is packed full of beautiful bundles and suites. It was truly hard to narrow down my pre order, but I managed. I was given the Timeless Tulips stamp set and Tulip Builder punch while I was at the gathering as part of prize patrol and winning the items we used to finish our make and take cards. I had a blast and I'm very excited for Sale-A-Bration and the new Mini Catalog!

I hope you were inspired today. Please visit my Online Store for your own Stampin' Up! supplies. Come back soon!

Sneak Peek Hearth and Home Framelits

Happy Monday! I spent some time this weekend using some new items from the Holiday Catalog, which goes live on September 1st. Featured today is the new Home for the Holidays Framelits, which helps you create a window and a window box. I didn't use the window box, as my scene is from INSIDE the window. There is a bundle using the framelits with a stamp set called Happy Scenes and if you buy them together, you save 15%. I didn't use that set, I chose instead to use another stamp set called Wonderland. The trees and pine branches are from that set. My sentiment is from You're So Sweet.

Hearth and Home Framelits 139666 $20

Happy Scenes photopolymer 130821 $21
Or bundle the two and save 15% 140853 $34.75

My window is adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals for a 3-D effect.
Those Mossy Meadow dots are the new Home For Christmas Enamel Dots which are also from the Holiday Catalog.

Very Vanilla Thick Twine is available September 1, 2015 in the Holiday Catalog.
If you are wondering how I colored in my window scene, here is what I did. Using Mossy Meadow ink and the pines image from Wonderland,  I stamped onto Whisper White card stock. Some of the trees are "stamped off," a technique where you ink the stamp and then stamp onto a scrap piece of paper before stamping your card stock. Next, I used Sponge Daubers with Soft Sky and Soft Suede inks to make my ground and sky. I kept lightly daubing until I had the color I wanted.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are encouraged to make your own cards! Won't you leave me a comment? :-)

I'm So Grateful There's You

Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper is SO cheery! This *new* sentiment from the Chalk Talk Stamp Set (debuts May 31) is also a happy thing! Put the two together and here is what you get! I'm trying to use my old designer papers and other items before they are officially retired, but I have so much paper I don't think it's possible to ever use it all! Keep your eyes peeled for blog candy giveaway soon!

Even though the Scallop Rectangle Clearlit is retiring, I am NOT going to be saying goodbye to mine! I feel like I neglected to use it and I'm going to make up for that! It is perfect for so many sentiments and images! Behind it, you will see the retiring 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon from the Spring Mini catalog (available through May 31st). I was hoping this ribbon would continue into the annual catalog, but, alas, it isn't, so get it while you can. It comes in Melon Mambo, Marina Mist and Old Olive.

Once again, I hope you enjoyed looking and that you will take the time to comment below! I love to read all of your comments.

More Sneak Peeks!

Hi! I hope your weekend is going well. I wanted to show you some more sneak peeks from the new catalog! I used a pattern from the *new* Quatrefancy Designer Specialty Paper. It's in one of the *new* In Colors: Strawberry Slush. I love the name just as much as the color!

Also *new* is this lovely Very Vintage Designer Button. I love mixing vintage and modern, so I put the Stawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight (Floral Fusion die-cut) petals behind the button. The layered flower is a header for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment ("From My Heart") stamped in Pumpkin Pie onto a Whisper White Decorative Label.

Won't you leave me a comment below? I love to know what you think of my cards and are you excited for the new items??
