Pumpkin Pie Wishing

Welcome! Today's card was inspired by some specialty designer series paper that is on page 45 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. It's called Gilded Autumn. A couple of the prints in the pack have gold embossing.  

You can see the subtle shading of Pumpkin Pie, as opposed to having used Pumpkin Pie card stock.

I started with a Whisper White piece of card stock. I stamped the pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set using VersaMark ink. I embossed the images using Gold Embossing powder and my heat tool. Then, I used a Sponge Dauber and Pumpkin Pie ink to roll the color over the embossing. I went over it again and again until I got the subtle shading that I wanted. You could do this with any image from any stamp set and make your own designer paper!

My favorite framelits from the Holiday Catalog are most certainly Patterned Pumpkins! I love all of the ways you can arrange the pieces and how they cut out those cute pumpkins from Pick A Pumpkin stamps. Here I focused on the Basic Black using it for my card base as well as a couple of the leaves and those Black Rhinestones. I left the card base largely untouched for more of a dramatic background.

I stamped the small pumpkin in Craft White onto So Saffron Card Stock to give it that White Pumpkin look!
