PPA Preview and Christmas Tags

I'm excited to show you a sneak preview of this week's challenge from Pals Paper Arts! Be sure and come back tomorrow and see the full card. Also, check out the Pals site and see what each Design Team member has come up with! Be inspired!

A quick post to show you some very easy gift tags for Christmas gifts. I used the Heart of Christmas (single stamp) inked in Early Espresso. I die cut it using one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits. Then I cut one "tab" off of the die cut and it looks just like a tag you would buy. I used Very Vanilla 1/8" taffeta ribbon to tie it onto my sparkly bag. The Champagne Glimmer Paper is what makes it sparkle!

My second bag is the same base with Champagne Glimmer Paper, but the tag is filled in differently. I used a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker to color just the words "It's Christmas" from the Heart of Christmas single stamp. Then I added the "to" and "from" that is in the (retired) Winter Post stamp set. It was inked in Gumball Green ink. The tag is tied onto the bag using (retired) Pear Pizzazz 1/2" seam binding.

I hope you enjoyed my tags and bags and that you will leave a comment for me to read.

Happy Thanksgiving and PPA121

Happy Thanksgiving! Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week--PEARLS!! I sometimes have trouble with pearls, but Stampin' Up! has made it really easy to lay a line of pearls on any card or project you like! The above line is all attached, just pick it up off of the card and lay it where you like it! I couldn't resist adding extra pearls on two of my three round elements, too!

I wanted to jazz up my Eyelet border, so after I punched it, I ran it through my paper crimper. It really adds more 3-D to my card. I love this print from the Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series Paper. It's so old-fashioned.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a truly blessed Thanksgiving and that you have so much to be thankful for. I do!

A Merry Little Christmas

I am having a blast creating Christmas Cards way before the busy season. This is another card made with images that were sitting on my desk for a couple of months. I used them all and only had to matte the sentiment with a red oval. The rest just came together so quickly after I chose Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. There are so many prints in there that are just fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment so I know you were here!

Mojo Monday 105

Mojo Monday. I had a hard time getting my Mojo on today! I had such a relaxing weekend. Here is the scoop! I started with the reindeer from Winter Post. I didn't get the size right the first time, so after working out my circles, I had to downsize the deer! I embossed the snowflakes on the Chocolate Chip, but I'm not sure you can see that in my photo. Enjoy!

Tomorrow I will offer blog candy, so be sure and check out my post! Sign up to get email updates to help you remember!

Mojo Monday 104

I'm a bit late with my MOJO creation, but I had to re-do some of it because the colors just weren't right! I started by choosing a very old Stampin' Up designer series paper--so old I don't even know what it's called! It must be 4 years old or older! Then, how big to cut the circles? The designer paper was too busy for me to add three little elements onto the lower right corner, so I stopped while I thought it looked best!
I hope you enjoy this creation and please DO leave a comment-I love to read them all.
Don't forget that tomorrow at noon (CST) the link to upload your Pals Paper Arts Challenge will close!
