Golden Garden Gift Box

Today's project and card are for a dear niece's birthday. I started out by decorating this Mini Pizza Box, and then went on to create the matching card.

I used Bermuda Bay card stock on the sides of the box. On top, I used a piece of Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (2021 Sale-A-Bration free item) and a square of Golden Garden Specialty Acetate. I love how it looks with the ombre paper peeking underneath!

I added a Stitched Labels tag with "happy" from Well Said stamp set and "birthday" cut from Bermuda Bay card stock using the Well Written Dies. The butterfly was also cut from the Oh So Ombre paper from the Well Written Dies. I added some gems from Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Leftover Snowflake Splendor ribbon perfectly picks up the blues from the paper.

The matching note card also has Oh So Ombre paper on the front and envelope. The crinkle ribbon is painted using the Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends. The sentiment is from Many Mates stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink on the Oh So Ombre paper. It is frame using the Layering Circles Dies.

Delightful Bright Birthday

As a demonstrator, I get to see and order from the new annual catalog early. It's fun to see new products, but always hard to say goodbye to favorites. Here I have used the retiring Easter Promise (flowers) and retiring Delightful Day (sentiment). Also retiring is the Stitched Labels Dies that provided the lovely Rococo Rose element behind my sentiment square. (The Ruffled embossing folder I used with Granny green for the background is already retired, but I kept it a little longer).

Retiring products are listed here and some of them are even on sale. Get them while they last!

Sweet Friend

Again, thank goodness for scraps left unused (and saved!) on my work space. This card came together quickly due to the fact that I had the eiffel tower already stamped and cut out, as well as the flower, flower stamen and leaf.

I then chose a sentiment, stamped it and cut it out using the Stitched Labels dies (two different pieces plus the heart) and then added embellishments: Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones. I am on my second roll of the ribbon-I just love it!

Of course the fancy Parisian Flourish embossed background makes this card WOW!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you take a moment to leave a comment so I know you were here!

Snowman S'mores Snack Bag

I have lots of small groups I belong to and I love making things for each of them. Here I created a s'mores snack bag. Inside each snowman bag I placed an individual package of graham crackers, two mini Hershey bars and one lovely Peppermint Bark Chocolate Dipped Christmas peep!

I loved creating these cute tags using the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and the Stitched Labels Dies. I used Blueberry Bushel card stock and ink.

Thanks for looking today! I hope all of your Christmas plans are going along just fine. Today I will finish decorating my tree and then put the final touches on my Christmas Class. Come back and see the projects that we will be making at the class.

Welcome Baby Cards with Scalloped Note Cards

Babies are one of my favorite kinds of people in life! They are new, wonderful and full of promise. These cards are so quick to make! The Scalloped Note Cards come in a 20-pack with envelopes in four colors: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Light Pink and Terracotta Tile. These cards are a CASE from the Annual Catalog.

I used the dashes die from the Stitched Labels Dies to create the perforations above the scalloped edge. On the edge of the inside, I used one of the stamps from Delightful Day to decorate. This is the light pink card and I used Calypso Coral ink. The flowers are stamped in Calypso Coral, the leaves in Old Olive, (colored in with my Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker). The little dots were colored over with a Chalk Marker.

There are several ways to get your Delightful Day stamp set:

Mother's Day Embellished Package and Tag

Yesterday I showed you the card I sent to my daughter for Mother's Day. She has three small kids and I'm so proud of the mom she is to them!

This is a lovely bar of soap (smells heavenly!) that came wrapped like this. I got it at a small gift shop in Santa Barbara, CA.  The colors are perfect for some of our inks and embellishments! I always have a box top with scraps of ribbon and little tags that didn't work out for a card. I simply grabbed some of the ribbons and put them all together to make this package look special. I tucked it into a small priority box with her card to ship to Hawai'i.

Happy Mother's Day to all of my Blog Readers! Please leave a comment so I know you were here!

Happy Mother's Day Sentimental Rose

One more (?) card with my April Paper Pumpkin, please! This was CASEd from Tammy C. Wilson. It uses the pre-cut blossom and leaves that were supposed to be the box topper to place on the clear box if you gave the set of cards as a gift.

This card was mailed inside a box to my daughter for Mother's Day. Come back tomorrow to see the gift I placed in the box!

I love all of the embellishments on this card and the banner shape instead of just a rectangle. Using up my last bit of ruffled ribbon--it retires! If you want some, order it NOW!

Purple Posy Sentimental Rose Thank You

The small flag behind the circles is from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit. I wrapped it with some leftover twine from an earlier Paper Pumpkin kit. I love using all of the embellishments at one time or another!

I hope you are not tired of seeing the April Paper Pumpkin stamp set Sentimental Rose yet! I am enjoying it and pretty soon it will be time to get my May Paper Pumpkin kit!

Above I combined the stamp images of the flower and leaves for my focal point. Underneath the smaller pieces is a layer of Whisper White card stock that I ran through my Big Shot using the Subtle Embossing Folder. It was stamped with one of the images from the stamp set using So Saffron and new In Color Purple Posy. The card base is also the new Purple Posy.

Did you know that the Gold Metallic Thread is retiring? :-(  Silver and Rose will still be offered. I've used up my last bits. If you want some, please order right away, as it may run out or go on back order.

"More Than One Score" with the Pals' May Blog Hop

Welcome the Pals' May Blog Hop. We're so glad you're here because we made some great projects with "More Than One Score." You may be starting the shop here or coming from a previous Pal's blog. Either way, you've come to the right place. You'll find the full line-up below to help you move , or "hop" along from Pal to Pal.

I've settled in with my Magnolia Lane Suite (available June 4) and now I'm cooking! I decided to use this suite for this month's hop. I made a 3-D easel card.

I think there is more than one  way to make one, but I used the easy method. One piece of card stock measures 11" x 4-1/4" and is scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2". The portion that is largest is the "bottom" part of the card where my striped paper is. The other piece of card stock is where the flower is and it measures 5-1/2" x 4-1/4".

This lovely 3-D Magnolia-looking flower was made using the Magnolia Memories dies. I used several whole "blooms" of various sizes and several torn petals from the pieces cut from Whisper White card stock. I then used a bone folder to curl the petals upward. I colored the centers using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends and added those die cut center pieces in Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight card stock. In the very center are some Gold Metallic Pearls.

Here you can see the detail on the "stop" that lets the card stand up like an easel. It's several layers of card stock that are adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a sticker from the Magnolia Lane Specialty Memories and More Card Pack and more Metallic Pearls. My sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder.

The easy-to-tie ribbon is from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack available June 4th

Here is the card folded like it would go in an envelope. However, with the flower as the art portion, I will have to hand deliver this beautiful creation.

I thank you for looking today and hope you will leave me a comment and ask any questions that you might have. I will answer them if you have your email attached to your comment.

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month's Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they've created! Don't forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 12, 2019 when our Hoppin' Pals share their "Anything with Wings" projects. Don't miss the fun!

Daisy Lane Preview

Since I attend the Stampin' Up! On Stage, where demonstrators get together, I received this stamp set called Daisy Lane from the soon-coming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. That's right, a little sneak peek here! This is a card that I made as in the catalog.

Daisy Lane is a fun set, with large and medium close up daisy petals, the other daisy such as you see above in my background design and some stems, along with a few sentiments. I hope to make more cards using this set. The large daisy will easily be cut out with the Daisy Punch and the medium daisy will easily be cut out with the NEW Medium Daisy Punch which debuts on June 4th.

I hope you enjoyed looking! Please use my Online Store to order your products. Be sure to check out the Clearance Rack for special sale items available while supplies last.
