Valentine Treats Without Sugar

I always remember my little neighbor girls with a sweet treat for holidays. I try to stay away from candy because I'm sure they get enough of that! This Valentine's Day, they will be getting these cute little bottles of hand sanitizer that I got for $1. Add a home made tag, and you have a *sweet* gift that won't send them to the dentist!

Don't forget to leave a comment - I like to read them all.

There is still time to "play" at Pals Paper Arts! Check out all of the submissions so far and be inspired to create and upload your own!

PPA87 Punches!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge for today is to use punches on your creation! Can you do it? Then join us!!

This was a fun card to make. I love embedded embossing, which is what I did with the three rectangles. I adhered them to my Very Vanilla card stock piece, then ran it through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

The punch part of my card was to make little purses using the Round Tab punch. They are punched from pieces of Springtime Vintage designer series paper. For the handles I used the small and medium oval punches. The pretty clasps are made from the teeny butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and they are finished off with a teeny Basic Pearl.

The sentiment is stamped from Teeny Tiny Wishes onto the banner from a Petal Cone die cut in Very Vanilla.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my card. Please leave your comments below--I love to read them!

Sneak Preview and Mojo 153

So I'm a little late with the MOJO this week! Oh, but I had fun coming up with this card. I started with a basic idea in my head of butterflies instead of squares and then turned to the Color Coach again for my colors. The colors I saw were Concord Crush, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango.
I added the Pear Pizzazz all by me onesie!

If you will notice, this week's sketch is designed by my talented (and quite famous) upline and friend, Mary Fish from Stampin' Pretty. I hope you will check out her blog and see her creations. She really has a defined style and I love learning from her.

Here are the details of my card:

Pink Butterfly

This is my PINK contribution today. I am supporting October's Breast Cancer Awareness. This is so simple  you won't believe it!

I used a sheet of sticky magnet and stuck a small piece of designer paper to it and ran it through my Big Shot using the Bigz Beautiful Butterflies (exclusively Stampin' Up!) and Sweet Always designer paper.  I cut the letters out using my Billboard (exclusively Stampin' Up!) alphabet, running it through my Big Shot with Regal Rose card stock I made some antennae using very thin strips of Basic Black card stock that I curled using my scissors and glued to the back (magnet) side. I HOPE you like this! Please leave a comment and let me know you were here.

Don't forget, tomorrow is the debut of the PINK challenge at Pals Paper Arts. Play along and you could win a fantastic PINK package of Stampin' Up! goodies.

Shopping List:

Finally Friday

Some leftover embossed cardstock led me to design this card. Also, my butterfly, run through my Big Shot with a Texturz Plate was sitting on my desk ready to fly. I had die cut it about a week ago from the Lovely Flowers hostess Designer Series Paper. This makes a card easy to complete! I matched a Whisper White embossed piece, used my eyelet border punch and the rest was history! On the Modern Label punched sentiment from Small Script, I decided to make it more like the border and pierce a few holes. Later I thought, "I should have pierced the butterfly wings!" Maybe next time??
Enjoy your weekend and please leave your comment below.  I enjoy reading each and every one!
