Color Throwdown

I loved this color combination (Bermuda Bay, Green Galore, Barely Banana) at Color Throwdown, so I decided to whip up this easy card. First I cut my card out of Bermuda Bay. I used an extra piece of Whisper White that I had run through my Big Shot using Large Dots Texturz Plate. Before I ran it through, though, I "painted" it with Green Galore by wiping my ink pad all over the plate. Then when you lay your paper on it, the ink transfers. It also will transfer the "pattern," whether you swirl it like I did, or you just pat it on. Next, I stamped one of the images from Figures of Speech onto Whisper White and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Knowing I was going to color it in, I wanted those embossed lines that help you paint neatly!  Next I cut the image out in a circle shape and backed it with a Green Galore punchout using my Scallop Circle Punch. I added a teeny hole with my paper punch and threaded some linen thread through there to hang it onto my Barely Banana Grossgrain ribbon.
Easy!
