Pals Paper Arts #5 Halloween Theme

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #5 with a Halloween Theme. I used the Trick or Treat sentiment from Holiday Best (Hostess Level 1), stamped in Basic Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the same image on Whisper White and Dusty Durango. I lined them up on my paper trimmer and made a cut down the center of the image. I put the two different colors back together and they lined up perfectly. I backed the two-toned image in Old Olive and added three black brads, which I placed perfectly using my Paper Piercer Mat Pack. That is one handy tool that I use a lot! I added some retired Old Olive printed designer paper to the bottom half of the Basic Black panel, tied on some Old Olive ribbon, then added that to an Elegant Eggplant panel that was trimmed at the top using my Spiral punch. The card base is Basic Black.

I hope you will play with us at Pals Paper Arts. Check out our challenges, which are posted each Thursday morning and upload your creation by noon (CST) each Tuesday. Each week we pick 3 Pals Paper Artist Picks and we could be choosing YOU, but only if you play!

I totally forgot that I have that trick or treat stamp! I should have used it on my card!! It looks great on yours with the two tone effect. Love purple and green!

I love the designer paper that you used, Patti! Splitting the color block under the sentiment was ingenious! Great card!

You remind me to get out my Spiral Punch. Such a delightful touch. I also like how you layered the sentiment over two colors. Very snazzy. Hugs, Mary
