Happy Belated Birthday, Gorgeous!

Once in awhile I don't have my act together and I am late sending birthday wishes! With that in mind, I now have a few of these "belated" birthday wish cards on hand. It seems to be happening more often?! The print was made using the Painted Harvest stamp set and two-step stamping using Smoky Slate and Basic Black inks. My sentiment comes from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. This stamp set will continue in the new catalogs coming out June 1st.

I based my card off of an idea by JoAnne Hewins. Pair any black and white designer series print (here I used Whole Lot of Lovely) with any stamp design in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Then POP it with a bright color like Lemon Lime Twist for a card base. My embellishments are Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon, Tutti-frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins and Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

Oranges to Say "Thank You"

Here is the card I promised from yesterday. I CASEd this from Sandi MacIver. This oranges pattern from the same Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper once again is the focal point of a lovely card and lets you make many cards like this one!

Sandi ingeniously added a sentiment on vellum so you can still see every inch of the orange print. The print is cut 3"  wide by 3-3/4" long by 3" wide. The piece of Tranquil Tide card stock underneath the print is 4-1/4" long and 2-1/2" wide. The vellum strip with the white heat-embossed sentiment (from Rose Wonder stamp set) is  5" long by 3/4" wide. It is anchored by using two glue dots on the under side and two Gold Faceted Gems on top to conceal my glue dots.

Tangerine Tango Congratulations

I CASEd this beautiful card from Stamping With Val. I love all these colors together. I am LOVING the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper, but I hate to use it up too quickly! 

This card lets you see plenty of one of the bold patterns, but still make a lot of cards using the small pieces. A little goes a long way. My designer paper is cut to 4" x 3-1/2". This means you could make 9 cards like this one from one 12" x 12" sheet.
