Forever Greenery Birthday for a Special Lady

I'm glad you stopped by today. I've been busy getting ready for my Christmas Craft Day and now that that is over, I'm ready to post some of the things I've been making lately. Here is a birthday card I made for my dear daughter-in-law. Awhile ago I posted the matching Gift Card holder and you can see that here.

This card was made using the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. The Gold Foil circle was cut from the Painted Labels die set. The sentiment was stamped onto a Stitched Nested Label die using the Peaceful Moments stamp set and Pretty Peacock ink. I added some gems and sparkles to make this card special.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Make sure you are subscribed to receive an email each time I post.

Forever Greenery Gift Card/Money Holder

This gift card/money holder is for my daughter-in-law's birthday this month. I got ahead of all the November birthdays last week and created this with her in mind. I always like to present boring cash gifts in a beautiful or fun way, so this will do.

I used the Forever Greenery Designer Series paper and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to make my holder. Simply cut two pieces the same size, fold one side down and adhere the two pieces together along the edges, leaving as much space as possible inside the pocket. Decorate. I used the Forever Flourishing Dies and foil sheets, then tied a bow around the packet using the Vanilla ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

Thank you for looking today. I hope you are inspired to make something with paper. Use my Online Store any time you wish to purchase Stampin' Up! products. Let me know if I can help you in any way.

Not Too Early For Christmas

I made this card for a card swap a couple of months ago. It was fun coming up with a design that used mostly products from the June-Dec Mini Catalog.

I made ten of these cards, a very manageable number. I received a number of beautiful cards in the swap and I was impressed that the stamp sets, paper and dies used on the ones received were none of the ones I had already purchased. Which makes me want them all! I love how many choices Stampin' Up! gives you when you shop!

Speaking of shopping... Don't forget that some beautiful Designer Series Papers are on SALE now through October 31st!

Let It Snow Easel Card

I've been dreaming of cooler weather - well I have to dream because it's still quite warm where I live. I love cold weather and this little snowman playing with snowballs makes me want to grab a sweater and some hot cocoa!

The card folds into a regular size for mailing. The die cut holds the flap in place to stand it up. Under the flap is a place for you to write your own message.

UPDATE:**********************

I was inspired by Jo Anne Hewins' card

Measurements for this card:

Card Base: Cut 8-1/2" x 11". Score at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2".

"Mini Card": Cut 3-1/4" x 8-1/2". Score at 4-1/2". Add a piece of Designer Series Paper to the front after you fold it on the score line. Attach to the 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" portion of the card base.

Fold the card base in a mountain style along the score lines.

Attach a piece of Designer Series Paper or dry embossed card stock (2-1/2" x 4") to the front of the card. Use any punch or die cut to hold the mini card by attaching the shape with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Decorate the Mini Card and the small front panel with the punch any way you like.

Fold the mini card behind the small front portion for mailing.

I hope you enjoy my directions.

Forever Blossoms Birthday Note Card

Using a previous layout and the same floral stem from Forever Blossoms, I made a birthday card (Note Card Size) using the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Prized Peony stamp set. My sentiment was die cut using the Stitched Nested Dies.

Also new on this card is the fabulous sheer Whisper White ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. It has a heavenly feel to it and is easily tied in a bow or knot, but here I just let it drape down the card behind the blooms.

I thank you of stopping by to check out my card today. Please feel welcome to shop my Online Store. Let me know if you have any questions!

Old and New Hello

I got inspired by Connie Babbert to use the new Forever Fern stamp set and the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies. I used retiring Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper as the necessary horizontal stripe for this design. The large sprig cut using the Forever Flourishing dies makes such a lovely statement in Basic Gray against the Petal Pink color.

Thanks for looking. I am playing with some new colors and products received a couple of days ago and I hope to post more fun cards soon.

Happy Birthday with Copper Accents

The ribbon and twine are also in the August Paper Pumpkin Kit

I was inspired to make this card by one of the banners that was included in the August Paper Pumpkin card. I also used the stamp set Gather Together (available Sept 4) to decorate my Stitched Label.

Sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings

Laser-Cut Kindness Card and Special Paper Pumpkin Announcement

Still stuck on the Bird Ballad Suite, but changing it up a bit. This card was inspired by Patty Bennett. She used the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series paper and cut out flowers from one of the sheets. You can get at least a dozen flowers from one 12 x 12" sheet! That's enough to put one on each of the Laser-Cut cards from the Bird Ballad Suite. The tin comes with 12 cards and envelopes.

I found that adding glue to the back of the laser cut front using a sponge was the best way to adhere the Crushed Curry piece. You can use your Silicone Craft Sheet so it won't stick to anything else!

I used the Painted Harvest sentiment and the new Terra Cotta Tile ink for the sentiment, which is stamped onto a Stitched Nested Die cut label. One stamp and you are finished!

Don't forget to redeem your $5 coupon codes August 1-31st.

Bird Ballad Party Favor

I love decorating favors! This one was for my July Workshop. I try and give my attendees a little treat each month and this time I used the new Kraft Pillow Boxes and my lovely Bird Ballad Suite items to give a couple of bite-sized chocolates.

Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to create because when you buy the suite, you have all of the coordinating items to inspire you! I quickly came up with this saying, and used the tiny Bird Ballad Trinket to accent the die cut with the sentiment. That lovely bird is snipped out from the Designer Series Paper.

I hope you enjoyed looking today! It's the LAST DAY to take advantage of the latest deal on a demonstrator kit!

Bird Ballad SWEET!

Long time since I posted! Sorry about that, but it's summer and I have a lot going on, plus my daughter and grandkids were staying with us for two lovely weeks, so I did not stamp or even go much into my studio!

To help me get back into my groove, I chose to make a class project that I purchased from Erica Cerwin at Pink Buckaroo. I love her classes because she does all the designing! All you have to do is make the cards.

This hexagon gift box is so cute! Now that I have fully played with the Free As a Bird stamp set and those lovely Stitched Nested Labels dies, I'm in LOVE with those cute birdies.

The birds are so beautiful whether you cut them from the Bird Ballad Designer Series paper, or you stamp them and use your Stampin' Blends to color them. They are so cute and I love how they look at each other!

Tiny key is from the Bird Ballad Trinkets

There is no limit to the different color combinations you can use on these cute birds. Look at all of the colors in the designer series paper!

This cute slide open box holds some yummy treats for a special someone! I hope you have enjoyed looking today! Please sign up to receive an email each time I post.

Leave me a comment today, won't you! I will be posting a card soon using the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards from the product suite (pictured below).
