It's A Wrap Bridal Shower

I went to a Bridal Shower/Spa Day last weekend. It was heavenly! I thought a great gift for the bride-to-be would be a little continuation in pampering. I filled a Longaberger Basket with soft slippers, slipper socks, a pedicure kit, spa cap, a jazz CD, candles and a gift certificate for See's chocolates. The only thing I didn't include was the "Do Not Disturb" sign for the bathroom door!

Here is the tag I made using the It's A Wrap Occasions stamp set and Small heart glitter punch-outs.

I used Pool Party 3/8" ruffled ribbon and 5/8" Crochet Trim to tie the tag.

Since the card embellishments went past the edge of the card, I presented it in a clear bag that was folded in half. The ribbon was neatly tucked around the back.

I used White Craft Ink and White Stampin' Emboss powder for the wedding dress stamp from Love & Laughter. I love this stamp set. It is going to be used a lot, I can tell!

I didn't want to neglect the inside of the card, so I used one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits to die cut around my sentiment. I punched out the hearts (stamped in Island Indigo onto Pool Party card stock) from Love & Laughter to each side.

To gather the ends of the 5/8" Whisper White organza ribbon, I made my own flower/brad. I used Floral Fusion die in the big shot to die cut a Whisper White small and a Pool Party (Patterns DSP) medium flower. In the center I used a (retired) brad from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. The sentiment "forever" is a Fabulous Phrases stamp inked in Pool Party and die cut with one of the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Denim and Diamonds Congratulations!

Hello! Lots of folks will be graduating this month and next, so I thought I'd show you one of the cards I made for a friend who is graduating from college. I used school colors, of course, and some of the sneak peek products from the upcoming 2012 Catalog.

I love how the denim ribbon looks against both the Night of Navy and the Tangerine Tango designer paper. I added the "diamonds" as a dressy contrast to the casual ribbon.

Now for those new products! I love this sentiment from Layered Labels. There are four labels in the set, each elegant and luscious in their own right! You can see that I have used the new Apothecary Framelits to precisely cut around the stamped image! The second of the four Framelits was used with the striped Tangerine Tango designer paper to add some contrast. I LOVE these shapes! You will be able to order these stamps and Framelits June 1st.
