Happy 30th With Balloon Celebration

A very special lady in our lives is turning 30 and I made this card to match her gift. I used the Number of Years and Balloon Celebration stamp sets. My colors were Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette and Tip Top Taupe. I was inspired by another stamper, but I cannot remember who it was--so sorry!

For a little bling, I added sequins from the Fancy Frost and Metallics collections. My card base is Thick Whisper White because of all the layers on the front of the card.

PPA322 The Best is Yet to Come

I added Clear Wink of Stella over the snowflake for more sparkle.

The Pals Paper Arts Sketch or Color chart is designed to inspire you to begin making a card. This week, Susan Itell has provided a fun sketch for all to enjoy. I have come to enjoy using these and others to get me started. Somehow, I always miss the fact that a sketch is square and this week is no exception. I was focused on those lovely horizontal stripes and immediately knew I wanted to use ribbons and knots!

I love the colors that the Holiday Catalog uses with the Frosted Medallions suite of products. They are soft and I never considered using Sweet Sugarplum quite so much as when I saw the Glitter Ribbon! It's beautiful! It comes in a combo pack of Sweet Sugarplum and Silver. It's a stunning combo. And when you buy the ribbon, you might as well get the Fancy Frost Sequins so you can add even more sparkle to your cards :-)
