Pals Paper Arts #26

Play at Pals Paper Arts today! Just create your *new* "Anything But a Card," upload it with a direct link to your blog post or online gallery, credit PPA26 and you are on your way to sharing your love of paper crafting!

This is such a simple project! And it is large enough to hold an entire bag of Hershey Kisses--okay minus the two I ate while creating! Chocolate is my weakness, what can I say?

I took a 9 x 9" piece of designer paper from the Sending Love Specialty pack and scored it three inches from each end all the way around. Then I punched each side, beginning in the middle with my Eyelet Border punch. Fold on the score lines, then fold in the four corners and voila!--you have a square box with a 3" bottom and 3" sides.

I took each corner and used my 1/8" punch to make a hole to thread my Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon to close up my box. Filled it with chocolates and let a sweet card candy hang from the Silver Stretch Cord.

The Card Candy tag is made from a Large Oval punched out of Very Vanilla and stamped with a Jet Black Staz On image from Love Bug (hostess). Peeking out from behind is a Word Window punch with the sentiment from Love Bug in Riding Hood Red. It's matted with a Sending Love Specialty paper punched with the Modern Label punch.

The three punches are set together and adhered to the box just-so with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Mojo Monday 122

Monday, Monday! I love Mojo Mondays!  Come play along, won't you? My upline, Mary Fish, designed this sketch and I really like how versatile it is. I used some designer paper from last year, called Candy Lane. Only the Modern Label Punch background for the sentiment is a piece from the *new* Sending Love Specialty paper. I don't think the photo captures the sparkle on that punched piece, but it's there. I like how the glitter doesn't come off the paper, too!

Ingredients:
Card Stock: Pretty in Pink, Textured Real Red, Very Vanilla
Designer Paper:  Candy Lane, Sending Love
Stamps: Flexible Phrases
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Extras: Gold Stretch Cord, Pinking Hearts and Scallop Border punches, Modern Label, Word Window punches, Bigz XL Flower Folds, Big Shot, Dimensionals

All Supplies Stampin' Up!

If you would like to create using Stampin' Up! please order with me any time.

Mojo 121

Mojo Monday is too fun to miss! Play along, won't you? This card came together in a snap, thanks to some new designer paper, a piece of leftover embossed paper and some punches.

I began with a Bravo Burgundy base cut long-wise from an 8.5 x 11" piece of cardstock. I cut a slightly smaller piece of one of the prints from the *new* Specialty Designer Paper "Sending Love" every sheet has one side that sparkles! (This side doesn't, though). It is so fun to work with, very high quality. I used a sentiment from God's Blessings to stamp in Chocolate Chip onto Whisper White corner-rounded piece of cardstock and placed it under my textured harlequin strip. I used the 1" and 1-1/4" punches under the Happy Birthday and candles from So Many Scallops. In between those circles I placed half of a Snow Blossom punched Pretty in Pink "crown." This is for a birthday queen I know! I duplicated the half-circle and "crown again at the bottom of the Whisper White sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my creation. Please leave your comments, I love them all.
