Twinkle Twinkle Birthday

I love this Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, but I didn't need a new baby themed stamp set, so I set out to make a card that doesn't require the baby theme. The colors Night of Navy (striped pattern) and Gray Granite (star pattern) are emphasized on this fun card that brings birthday greetings to a special person.

I loved the way the three ribbons looked together: Gray Granite 1/2" Textured Weave, Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham and 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle. And that little heart--Oh My!

My clouds and the heart were cut out using the Up and Away Thinlits and my Big Shot.

Catalog Inspired Lift Me Up

This card was in the Annual Catalog. I didn't have the same paper to peek out from the beautiful Whisper White balloon, or the ribbon to go alongside the cloud strip, but I made do and I love how it turned out.

This stamp set, Lift Me Up, is not new this year, but I spent the last year debating if I should buy it or not. When I earned some merchandise from my team leader, I knew that it was time for this set to be part of my library of bundles. Those shapes are easily cut after stamping because of the matching Up and Away Thinlits.
