Father's Day CASE and 50% Off Paper Pumpkin Offer

Linda Aarhus made a Father's Day card awhile back and I loved her tie idea, so I made my own version. I love how those little prints make great ties! I used some retired scraps and I have no idea which prints they are, since they were all in a big stack with no labels. My accent colors are Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.

I had to order some of those cute hangers, which come in the retiring "Hung Up Cute Clips" assortment. They are so cute!

I made the above graphic using the neat card that comes in the Paper Pumpkin kit each month. I backed it with a piece of the new Tangelo Twist card stock.  I've been loving my kits, since they allow me to complete a project in very little time. All of the "ingredients" are in the box and make it easy to grab your adhesive and scissors and take them with you on a trip or to craft with a friend. Last month's offering was a cute 4 x 4" frame that you could have used for a Mother's Day gift. This month's kit has a Father's Day-themed stamp.

Did you know you can enjoy Stampin' Up's subscription kit program -- each month a fully-designed project arrives in a delightful box filled with stamps, ink, and paper-everything cut and ready to go. Purchase the Try-It Kit or prepaid subscriptions here. If you'd like to sign up for a month-to-month subscription, visit mypaperpumpkin.com You can even order extra kits if you love to give away your craft projects and keep one for yourself! Long Beach LIVE Catalog Premiere with My Friend Shannon

Exciting news! This year Stampin' Up! is having a "live" catalog reveal! The live event takes place in Long Beach, California and I happen to live near there. Demonstrators who do not live nearby will be able to gather at designated movie theaters nationwide and watch what takes place in Long Beach on the big screen!

The best part is that I'm carpooling with a fellow Pretty Pal, Shannon Jaramillo (we met in person last year at Convention) and we are meeting up with a bunch of other Pretty Pals at the Convention Center. Also, we each receive a copy of the soon-t0-be-released 2014-2015 Annual catalog tonight and I hear there will even be some giveaways of SU products! We are all very excited. It is a Red Carpet event, so we are going to dress up a bit and I will be showing photos on my blog tomorrow.

I thought today would be a great day to show a card that I CASEd from Shannon. She makes very lovely cards and I always admire her work. Here I used a different base color, ink color and Dahlia, and for the Birthday Basics parts of the card, I used different patterns than she did. I loved her layout and kept that the same.

Thanks for looking and I hope you will leave your comments below.

Mother's Day Card and Reminders

Last month my Pal, Peggy Noe from Pretty Paper Cards made a card that I just loved. I used her card for inspiration for this Mother's Day card. My workshop group loved making one much like it last week. We used current Designer Series Paper in Wisteria Wonder instead of the retired paper that i used for my samples. I also put a beautiful butterfly using punches where Peggy had a flower.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card and that you will leave your comments below. I love, love, love reading each and every one!

Cutest Egg Holders!

I hope your week is going great. I have been a busy creator, but haven't had time at the computer. I hope you will stay tuned because I do have a lot of creations that I will be blogging about soon!

These CUTE Egg Holders are the creation of Mary Fish, my Stampin' Up! upline and friend. She has a video posted on her blog on how to make these sweet items. They are so easy and fast to whip up. There are so many ways you can decorate them!

I kept some smooth, dry-embossed some and then added different shaped punches and thinlit dies around my sentiments. I hope you enjoy looking and will leave your comments below.

Tomorrow I will have an Easter card to show you AND a preview of the 200th Pals Paper Arts challenge, which will be fully revealed on Thursday.

For all of your Stampin' Up! products, please use my Online Store. Your order will be delivered right to your door!

Workshop Valentine

A couple of weeks ago I made the CUTE baby card below and I LOVED how the Baked Brown Sugar polka dotted DSP looked with this beautiful Whisper White scalloped "lace."
So, for a Workshop last week, we began with the same card base, but turned the card and added the lace along the bottom. Already the card is almost finished!

I added a small rectangle panel of one of the many prints in the Fresh Prints DSP stack from the Occasions Catalog. I framed it in Real Red card stock. The heart element base is Coastal Cabana card stock that is die cut using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. Next, I ran the heart through the Big Shot again inside the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment in Red (it's from the Delightful Dozen stamp set) and punched it out with the Full Heart punch. The full heart is JUST large enough to get all of the sentiment in. I added a Small Heart punched from Real Red card stock and blinged it up with a Basic Rhinestone. I popped up this heart element using Stampin' Dimensionals and tied a Soft Suede knot vertically to the left of the heart.

I do hope you enjoyed looking and got some inspiration. Whenever you need Stampin' Up! supplies to get you started, please use my Online Store.
