Peaceful Petals Sympathy

It's sad when you have to make a Sympathy Card, but I'm glad Stampin' Up makes it a very easy task. There is a lot of love that goes into my sympathy cards.

You can see that I used my Aqua Painter to paint Hello Honey ink onto the flower from Peaceful Petals. The flower petals are stamped in Black Stazon onto Whisper White card stock and the leaves were stamped in Mossy Meadow. I used Mossy Meadow with my Aqua Painter to paint the leaves. I layered my sentiment and flower over a piece of Whisper White card stock that I cut out using the Large Scallop Edgelit. It is embossed with the Delicate Designs embossing folder.

The card base is Baked Brown Sugar layered with Whisper White and a print from Back To Black Designer Series Paper. At the top of the mats, I placed a horizontal knot using 5/8" Whisper White Organza ribbon.

I hope you liked looking today and that you will leave a comment.

Last Workshop Share

The third card from my Workshop last week is this one. I had the gals make it in two different colors, as I only had the In Color sample pack of card stock, so a limited amount of each color. I chose some colors that could be used as masculine colors. This one is Lost Lagoon. The designer paper is from Back to Black.

Here are the two versions we made.

I realized that this Mossy Meadow looks like what I would call "Army Green." So I hope that this Memorial Day you are remembering those who have served our country and gave their all. And "thank you" to the families that supported them.
