Spread the Love for PPA254

As I wait for my newest Stampin' Up! items to arrive (2015-2016 Annual Catalog went live June 2nd), I am playing with the only stamp set that I got during the preview period -- Sprinkles of Life.  There is something to be said for only ordering ONE set in preview, which is I have already used it more than I sometimes use any stamp set!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week was color, and seeing that the Strawberry Slush is officially retired, I was instead inspired to use the brand new Watermelon Wonder. It's a good match to So Saffron and Soft Suede, I found.

I decided to use the floral arrangement stamp from the Sprinkles of Life as the tree foliage. I colored the flowers using Stampin' Write Markers in So Saffron, Watermelon Wonder, Soft Suede and Cucumber Crush. My teeny bird was stamped in So Saffron onto So Saffron card stock and punched out perfectly using the Tree Builder punch.

I hope you found lots of things to add to your Wish List from the new catalog! When you are ready to order, please use my Online Store.

I agree with you-the more choices we have-sometimes it's harder to create.
it's a good idea to sit down with a stamp set and create numerous times with the same one to see what we can come up with.

I love the layers of your card and the way your ribbon comes out to the side. The stamp set is cute too!

Have a blessed day!

Patti, your tree reminds me of a limbed up camellia bush which allows the trunk to provide as much interest as the leafy part. I have done that with holly bushes and actually purchased a camellia that started that way... very pretty when it blooms... just like your lovely card. Well done, Pal!

Katy, I haven't had much luck with Camellias, so I'm glad to hear that my stamped tree reminds you of one! THanks for your comment, Pal!
