Baby Bumblebee--So Sweet!

Baby Bumblebee is single stamp from the Occasions Catalog. You can do so much with it, though! You can stamp just the image by isolating it, or just the sentiment doing the same. Here I stamped it as is. Then I colored it using my *free* Daffodil Delight Blendabilities pens. I shaded the bee from left to right (dark to light) and then used the lightest color in the set of three to sort of scribble in the wings for some color. I used my Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker for the face. Isn't he sweet? I say "he" because I'm giving this card with a baby boy shower gift.

To make the card special, I used a sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners. I stamped it in Black Stazon and cut it out using my Big Shot and the Bitty Banners Framelits Dies. I added a loop of Basic Black Chevron Ribbon, tied that up with a piece of White Baker's Twine, then used a mini clip to attach the banner.

My background is special because I used the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder to give my Basic Black matt some dimension. The Whisper White Circle Framelit with the stamped image is framed with a Crushed Curry Starburst Framelit to match the card base.
