Fine Art Floral Love

Another card using the Fine Art Floral Suite. Today I used a 4" x 5-1/4" sheet of Golden Garden Specialty Acetate over the matching print from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. There isn't much you need to add to that, but my sentiment is stamped from the Well Said stamp set and the word "love" is cut from the Well Written Dies. They are both attached to a little swirl from the Painted Labels Dies. There is a sweet piece of frayed Fine Art 3/8" Ribbon and a few gold sequins for some sparkle.

I'd love your comments and appreciate the time it takes to leave one. Please use my Online Store any time you are ready to purchase your own Stampin' Up! products.

Golden Garden Gift Box

Today's project and card are for a dear niece's birthday. I started out by decorating this Mini Pizza Box, and then went on to create the matching card.

I used Bermuda Bay card stock on the sides of the box. On top, I used a piece of Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (2021 Sale-A-Bration free item) and a square of Golden Garden Specialty Acetate. I love how it looks with the ombre paper peeking underneath!

I added a Stitched Labels tag with "happy" from Well Said stamp set and "birthday" cut from Bermuda Bay card stock using the Well Written Dies. The butterfly was also cut from the Oh So Ombre paper from the Well Written Dies. I added some gems from Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Leftover Snowflake Splendor ribbon perfectly picks up the blues from the paper.

The matching note card also has Oh So Ombre paper on the front and envelope. The crinkle ribbon is painted using the Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends. The sentiment is from Many Mates stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink on the Oh So Ombre paper. It is frame using the Layering Circles Dies.

Trio of 4" x 4" Beauties

What I like about the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper is that it's not as thin as regular DSP and it's not as thick as card stock or a foil sheet.

My most favorite suite in the January - June Mini Catalog is the Love You Always Suite. It's huge, beautiful and very versatile. Today's trio of 4" cards showcases the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper. You really don't need to do much more than use this paper as a background with it's shiny embossed pattern. It comes in a pack of 12, in three colors: Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose and Sahara Sand. Here I used the Rococo Rose. There are also matching Foil Sheets, so you can see my heart cut outs are done in those.  Add a sentiment and the lovely Blushing Bride 3/8" Metallic Ribbon and you have a stunning card of any size.

I love that these 4" x 4" cards can still fit into a standard envelope and you don't need extra postage.

You can dress these cute little cards up or down, depending on the ribbons and embellishments you add.

Hot Air Balloon Thank You

My Balmy Blue card began with a retired piece of 6" x 6" Gingham Gala designer series paper. When I cut the Stitched Rectangle from the Whisper White card stock, I made sure it was centered on a scored and cut piece of card stock for a future card. Today is the future for this card. I lined the "frame" I had earlier created with a piece of 4.25" x 5.5" piece of gingham and then decorated the panel using a Stitched Circle stamped with White embossed clouds and a few gulls.

My balloon was stamped and cut on Whisper White using the Above the Clouds stamp set and punched with the Hot Air Balloon punch. The banner was fussy cut. I added "thank you" using the Well Written Dies cut from Balmy Blue card stock.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my creation today. Please let me know you were here by leaving a quick comment.

Bold Blueberry Bushel Birthday

If you follow me, you will remember that I made a card using Blueberry Bushel a couple of weeks ago for someone who was turning 100. Here is another card using the same color scheme.

So easy to make a "wow" card using the In Color 6 x 6" paper packs. And I am just loving my newly purchased Stitched Rectangles Dies! They are perfect accents, backgrounds and elements on any card, tag or scrapbook page. I'm sure I will reach for these often!

Blueberry Bushel 100

I belong to a private group of Stampin' Up! Demonsrators on Facebook and one of them solicited some cards for a gentleman she knows who turns 100 this week. I made this card to send to him. I hope he can enjoy those THREE digits that he is now entering! What a life he must have had so far. Think of all the things that he has seen come and go!

The outside piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock that has the "100" on it was cut using the Stitched Rectangles Dies and I saved the piece if was cut from (5-1/2" x 4-1/4") and adhered it to the inside so it would make a nice frame for my hand written note.

A Gold Metallic Pearl makes the perfect dot on the letter "I" to match the sparkling 1-0-0 die cut from Gold Glimmer paper.

I hope you enjoyed looking today, but most of all I hope you are inspired to make something from paper!

Hooray for You!

Today's card is a congratulations card for our grandson, who just finished his first year of pre-school. They have a little ceremony and celebrate those who are moving up and those who are moving on to other schools.

I used some retired Maritime Designer Series Paper. I could not part with my extra pack because of the colors. This Real Red and Night of Navy paired with Coastal Cabana is just so beautiful I knew I would use it again. And that retiring Night of Navy Gingham ribbon, oh no, does it really have to go??

Verdant Garden Miss You and Note Card

Lining up the two stamps in two ink colors was a breeze with photopolymer Verdant Garden

The story of these cards makes me laugh. I went to On Stage, a Stampin' Up! event where demonstrators get all excited about new products coming out. We get to hang out together, make some cards and have so much fun learning about new products. Then, we are given a list of products that we can pre-order before anyone else! I loved a suite of products called "Magnolia Lane." When it came time to order, I accidentally ordered that suite + two other products that coordinate with it in a way. The two "bonus" :-) products were the Verdant Garden stamp set and the coordinating Garden Lane Designer Series Paper. You will see the paper tomorrow, but today I want to show you how I made my own designer paper by using two of the stamps from the Verdant Garden stamp set!

Verdant Garden stamp set will be released on June 4, 2019

I started my stamping in the middle of the note card, then went to the right, then left. I think this made it easier for me. Okay, I got a little bit crooked, but I still like it! Then I couldn't stop, so I did the envelope flap, too!

Ink colors used: Rococo Rose (new In Color, avail June 4) and Cherry Cobbler

Some retired ribbon was just the right touch to go under the heart with the words die cut using Well Written Dies.

Thanks for looking today! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Let me know if you have any questions about my cards or the products used on them.
