Gorgeous Grape I Love You

I chose bold inks: Gorgeous Grape, Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso

I designed this card for my January Workshop. If you live in the Orange County area and would like to attend my monthly workshops, please contact me and let me know you'd like to be on my list. We have a lot of fun making cards each month.

I love the detail of Tufted 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. With the bold colors on this card, I'm even more "impressed" with it :-)

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you are inspired to create! Please let me know you were here by leaving a short comment. As always, if you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you.

Simple One Layer Thank You

I created this simple card because I wanted to try out a technique I haven't done before: Ombre effect using our sponge brayer. I punched out the leaf design and then used the leftover card stock as my template. I used Crushed Curry ink to place the ink, rolling my brayer over my ink pad, then over the template from bottom right corner to top left corner over and over until I liked the shading.

To be honest, the designer series paper was placed on the right side of the card to hide my inky fingerprints! Has that EVER happened to you? :-)  Then I stamped THANK YOU from Vertical Greetings and my card was ready to send.

I hope you were inspired today! Thanks for stopping by.

I'd love to be your demonstrator when you shop my Online Store.

Vertical Greetings Triple Play

I recently purchased the Vertical Greetings stamp set because I have no other stamp set that has a vertical agreeing that is simple and straightforward. I love these topiary trees, too!

They can also be stamped just using one section, so a plant instead of a tree.

The above card which is inspired by Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty, would be wonderful for Valentine's Day or just to say, 'I Love You.'

The next card was inspired by Brian King's card at Stamp With Brian. I believe he used another Christmas print, but here I used some retired paper. Looks so elegant! I used the Fine Tip Glue pen on the star to give it some shine. Goes on easy and dries fast! The sentiment is from a retired stamp set.

My third card was inspired by Sue Vine at Miss Pink's Craft Spot. I did add one touch of my own--those two Rhinestones. They are there because I got ink on a spot that I didn't want there! I love to use "mistakes" as an opportunity to be even MORE creative!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Won't you leave a comment for me so I know you were here?
