Something For Baby and Blog Hop Reminder

I was inspired by a card that Karen Gilbert made and posted in Splitcoast Gallery. Her card was larger than mine, had more elements on it and was actually a Thank You card. I wanted a card for a baby shower gift. This card matches a rag quilt I made for the new baby boy.

I hope you enjoyed looking! Please leave a comment for me to read. Any time you need Stampin' Up! supplies, just use my Online Store.

Card Details:
Colors: Tip Top Taupe, So Saffron, Mint Macaron, Whisper White
Stamps: Made With Love (Sentiment), Something for Baby
Framelits: Love Notes (envelope and card in envelope), Baby's First Framelits (toy, duck, onesie and diaper pins)

Don't forget to visit my blog tomorrow, when I will be participating in the Pals Blog Hop!

Baby Girl Congrats!

Hello everyone! So sorry that I haven't posted much lately. A  long vacation and just some busy weeks have kept me out of my studio and away from my blog. I hope you won't give up on me!

One of my customers had a baby recently, so I made this card to send her for congratulations!

I promise I'm trying to get some time in my studio. Please come back soon. In the mean time, won't you leave a comment or greeting? They make my day!

Hello Baby!

Hello Baby! I love celebrating babies! Here is a card for a baby boy which will be accompanied by a rag quilt that I'm making. The stamp set Something For Baby and it's accompanying Baby's First Framelits make it a snap to put together a cute outfit on the front of a card! I didn't even use all of the many elements included in the framelits set.

The paper I used is from the upcoming Annual Catalog (debuts June 2nd!) and is called Cherry On Top Designer Series Stack. This is stack of 6" x 6" paper, so large enough to use in scrapbooking, card making or envelope liners and gift wrap. I'm so glad that the stacks are coming in this size!

For all of your Stampin' Up! supplies, I invite you to use my Online Store any time.

Fab Friday 49 Something For Baby

I was lookin' for a challenge and I found on Fab Friday. Okay, it isn't Friday, but there's still time to play!

Hint: To color my ducks, I inked the stamp from Something For Baby in Daffodil Delight. I used the brush end of my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker to swish over the bill. The Daffodil Delight disappeared while the Pumpkin Pie took over.

I love how these ducks are cut out so easily using the Baby's First Framelits set. How cute are they all "squared" up to greet a new little one?

Thanks for looking today! I hope you will take a moment to leave a comment for me. I love to read each and every one.

It's a Boy!

A friend of my daughter's just had a baby boy. I always make flannel blankets for babies and here is a card to go with the blanket. It's my first attempt using the Something For Baby stamp set, the Baby's First Framelits and the Little Letters Thinlits. I was going to place the letters over the ribbon across the bottom, but then I thought the negative punch out looked better with the stripes peeking through!

Please let me know what you think--I love your comments! Don't forget to post on THIS blog post to be eligible to win my Blog Candy! Only a couple of hours left to make the deadline!!

Any time you are ready to purchase Stampin' Up! with me, just use my Online Store.
