I had some very special people in mind when I created today's card. Yes, my stamping friends! I have to create something special and original when I send to other stamping friends! Most of the people I know that stamp, myself included, save and treasure every hand made card they receive. I have more than a drawer full, all bundled in pretty satin ribbons. I do go through them once in awhile for inspiration and just to reminisce! Sometimes I cut the fronts off to save room, but I cannot bring myself to throw them away. How about you? Do you save or recycle hand made cards you receive?
The card base is Soft Sky and the Winter Wonder snowflake is embossed onto Shimmery White card stock. The sentiment from Hang Your Stocking stamp set is embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. The sweet bow run between the two Silver Foil trees (from Card Front Builder Thinlits) was tied using the Whisper White 1/8" Ribbon. All these products come together to show a very elegant and shimmering card for my special friends!
