Tags, Tags, Tags!

These days it's all about tags for the gifts I have all wrapped and stacked. I love making my own tags. I do admit that I ask my family to save them to use again, but I only re-use them if I'm in a pinch! I still have lots of once-used tags in a little bag in my craft room!

These shiny tags are stamped with the reindeer image from Very Merry Tags. I used VersaMark and gold embossing powder. I punched them out with my circle punch and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals over a Gold Foil Scallop Circle. I used retired Gold Stretch cord from Stampin' Up! (I hoarded a bunch when it was still current!)

Thanks to the Holiday Ornaments Framelits and Petite Pennants Builder punch, these tags were a snap to make. I embossed the Crumb Cake card stock using the Stripes Embossing Folder before punching out the trees. I decorated my trees with Basic Rhinestones and Gold Frame star. The star is punched from the Merry Minis Star Punch.

Thanks for looking today! I hope you have a bit of time to leave a comment. I am hoping to be finished tagging all of the gifts by the end of today. Such a busy time, but I like to find a few quiet moments each day to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas--Our Savior's birth!

If you are in need of any Stampin' Up! products, I hope you use my Online Store to order.

Merry Christmas!

Name Game Baby Card

I am a member of Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty Pals. Mary is such a fun and inspirational person! She has her Pal playing the Name Game. We were enticed to "play" by using a stamp set that begins with the same letter of our first name. Since I'm Patti, I used Pennant Parade.

But, I did not stop there! I chose my colors by using "P" also. I used Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding and Pear Pizzazz.

But, I didn't stop THERE, either! For embellishment, I used PEARLS!! Thank you very much. That was fun! Everyone should try it! Sometimes you just can't think of anything to make or begin with!

Thanks for looking today. I hope you enjoyed my card and my attempt at humor. I'd love to read your comments below!

You Choose--Which Card?

As I was making today's card, I could not decide if I should stamp the sentiment onto Very Vanilla OR onto Tangerine Tango. I really like how they each look, but absolutely do not know which one looks better. What do you think? I'd love to hear from you in the comments section.

I like how the Very Vanilla one looks because it's crisp. I like the way the flowers spill over onto the border. However....

... I like how bold the sentiment looks in Cherry Cobbler on Tangerine Tango.

While you are deciding which one YOU like better, don'tcha just love how you can create a border using almost any image, repeating it and cutting or punching it out? This card began with the idea to use the Pennant Parade flags as a border AND...

... these Celosia I plan to plant over the final resting place of our beloved pet. Corrie was our Shetland Sheepdog and we had to say goodbye to her over two years ago. We still miss her, (she was our "favorite girl dog") but she has a place in our hearts and in our yard. I try to keep annuals on her little corner at all times. I'll be planting these today!

I hope you enjoyed my cards today and that you will leave your comments below. Thanks for stopping by!

Occasions Mini Preview and Card Giveaway

I hope your Christmas was fantastic! We had a very lovely family time.

In looking toward a New Year, I have a sneak peek for you of some products from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog, which goes live on January 4, 2012 - right around the corner!

For this card, I used the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, buttons and coordinating *new* pleated ribbon. Isn't it gorgeous?

Close up, you can see the detail on this very rich ribbon! (It also comes in Pear Pizzazz, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze to go along with the colors in the Twitterpated Suite of products). SNEAK INFO: I didn't use them here, but another new item is LARGE pearls: 8mm size, 40 per package.

The buttons on my card are from the Twitterpated "suite" of items. The sentiment is from a new stamp set named "P.S. I Love You" which has so many different elements and words to make your Valentine cards. I hope to give you more sneak peeks before the catalog goes live, but it is such a busy time.

To make things more exciting, I'd like to give this card away! Just leave ONE comment ON THIS POST ONLY and I will announce ONE winner (US addresses only) on Friday, December 30th. The winner will have until January 3rd to email their address to me so I can send the card and envelope to you! Good luck to you all.
