Wishing You All The Best

Today's card began with scraps on my work counter. I had some leftover pieces from a Paper Pumpkin kit (those white pine-like sprigs are green on the other side)and some Leaf Punch Silver glimmer pieces. I added the white berry sprig cut using the Frosted Bouquet Dies and adhered the 3 pieces together.

Those little bouquets sat on my counter for a few days. Then I discovered I needed a few birthday cards for some upcoming birthdays. I got to work designing a card where I could use my bouquets. Here she is! I combined the silver and white with Mint Macaroon and Smoky Slate for a winter look. My background is the Subtle texture from the embossing folder.

Happy Birthday with Copper Accents

The ribbon and twine are also in the August Paper Pumpkin Kit

I was inspired to make this card by one of the banners that was included in the August Paper Pumpkin card. I also used the stamp set Gather Together (available Sept 4) to decorate my Stitched Label.

Sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings
I highly recommend subscribing to Paper Pumpkin. You get a new kit each month with everything you need to complete the projects. The only thing you provide are scissors and your time! I love that I can take my kit with me on a trip and spend a little time doing my favorite thing--paper crafting!

Daisy Lane Summer Brights

Colors used for daisies: Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo

Today's card is a CASE from Joyce Whitman at Stampin' Scrapper. I love how bright and beautiful and summery this card is. It's simple, too!

Couldn't you just brighten someone's day with this beauty? Imagine other bright colors together. Just stamp the daisy stamp twice in the same color ink as you card stock, cut out using the Daisy Punch. Curl the petals with your bone folder. Glue the pieces together in the middle and add a gold or silver faced gem to the middle. Quickly punch some Granny Apple Green leaves with the Leaf Punch and add them to your Pinewood Planks background. Lastly, stamp "smile" from the Daisy Lane stamp set and cut into a banner shape.

Thanks for looking today! I hope you are inspired.

Simple One Layer Thank You

I created this simple card because I wanted to try out a technique I haven't done before: Ombre effect using our sponge brayer. I punched out the leaf design and then used the leftover card stock as my template. I used Crushed Curry ink to place the ink, rolling my brayer over my ink pad, then over the template from bottom right corner to top left corner over and over until I liked the shading.

To be honest, the designer series paper was placed on the right side of the card to hide my inky fingerprints! Has that EVER happened to you? :-)  Then I stamped THANK YOU from Vertical Greetings and my card was ready to send.

I hope you were inspired today! Thanks for stopping by.

I'd love to be your demonstrator when you shop my Online Store.

Painted Harvest Birthday

I like to CASE cards, which means Copy And Share with Everyone. Sometimes I have time to sit down and stamp, but no ideas on what do make. I will search Pinterest (using a stamp set name) and see what others have done. I can make the card exactly like they have, or change it up a bit.

Other places for inspiration are my fellow demonstrators and their blogs or the Annual Catalog that Stampin' Up! puts out with wonderful photos to help us all create. This time I used the Stampin' Success Magazine, which is mailed to all demonstrators. I made the card pretty much exactly as they did. I love that it only takes a 3" x 3" square of the In Color Designer Series Paper. That means from every 6" x 6" piece of the paper, you can make 4 of these cards. The rest is stamping! I used the Painted Harvest stamp set for the flower and leaves. My sentiment is from Special Celebrations stamp set.

By using the Stamparatus, I lined up those 2-step stamping flower petals and was able to place the middle of the flower in the perfect place every time. Making multiples or having the ladies make this card at my workshop has never been easier!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day.
