Wishing You a Happy New Year

Happy New Year! May you have a safe and fun New Year's Eve. Who knows what the new year actually holds? May yours be filled with love, laughter and joy along with good health!

Today's card was meant to be one of my Thank You cards for Christmas presents. I don't live in an snowy area, but I love to use snowflake patterns in January and February. You can still order this stamp set and paper through January 3, while supplies last!

Happy New Year!

I wish for you a very happy, healthy and wonderful 2016!
I am grateful for each visit to my blog and I hope that some of you "out there" are inspired by what I do!

Even though I ring in the New Year EARLY and casually, I made this card pretty fancy with the silver embossing, multiple layers and shiny embellishments!

Please come back again soon. Consider "following" me so you won't miss a single post in the New Year. Thank you for your business--it keeps me in cards. :-)

Please use my Online Store to order any time!

PPA186 Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I have loved the rest and relaxation I've had the past few days. After cleaning up from Christmas, I organized some of the places in the house that were long-neglected with all the activity during Christmas. I found the desktop in my studio!!

This week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge uses the colors Island Indigo, Gold and Whisper White. I hope you can see my Gold Foil paper--it's really hard to photograph!

I began with a Whisper White card stock base, then added a layer of Island Indigo card stock. On top of that, a layer of Gold Foil that I embossed using my Big Shot and the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.

I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment by isolating each word using my VersaMark pen on Island Indigo card stock. I embossed each word with Whisper White embossing powder. I used the Mosaic punch to punch out the words and mounted them onto the Gold Foil using Stampin' Dimensionals. This card will be a "thank you" card for Christmas gifts received.

I hope your year has been fun and fantastic so far. I'd love for you to leave your comments below--I read each one!

Happy New Year in Pink

Another year has come to an end and a new one is beginning. What will 2014 hold for us all? I will be working on a new blog design, hoping to have it up and running by mid-January. Here, I created a card using some non-Stampin' Up! products---GASP! Yes, my son and his wife live in Japan and for Christmas, I received some favorite Japanese chocolates and some stickers! Some were "lucky" scratch-offs for New Year's and these were beautiful flowers. They are self-adhesive, which made this card a snap to make! There were about 9 different stickers and I used one of each to create my branch. At the end of the branch, I used the Happy New Year sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. This is a Thank You card I sent to them for my Christmas gifts.

Here is what the package looks like. I love their packaging! There are two bags to keep your product clean and safe. I still have many more stickers for other projects.

Thank you for being loyal followers of my blog! I hope you will sign up to follow me ("Join This Site" on the side bar) if you haven't already! I'm trying to get 100 followers so I can have a big Blog Candy celebration and YOU can help out by subscribing today!

If you are headed out for a party tonight, I hope you will be SAFE! Please be careful out there. I'm the type that likes to be sleeping at midnight, even on New Year's Eve. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz   See you next year!
