Pink Week Wrap Up

For the last card in my PINK week to support Breast Cancer Awareness, I chose to pair the pink with other colors in the same family. My card base is Regal Rose and the Damask Texturz Plate impressioned matte is in Ruby Red. The sentiment is cut from a piece of the Jumbo Wheel Friendly Words, as is the flourish. I love putting this together with the Going Gray Full Heart Punch, which I also ran through my Big Shot with the Dotted Swiss Texturz Plate.  I added a generic pink rhinestone for some bling.

Friends Are Treasures

Thankful for friends is how I feel. I made this card simply by rolling my Jumbo Wheel loaded with Friendly Words in Basic Black ink onto Whisper White card stock. Then I rolled it again using Ruby Red ink. Then I cut out the words "True Friends," and just used my tape runner to attach that piece over the black and white words. Next, I made the Ruby Red flower middle by cleaning my wheel well, then using a Ruby Red Stampin' Write marker to color only that flourish. I stamped it onto Whisper White paper and punched it out with a 5/8" circle punch. I attached it to a flower from the Birds and Blooms Die and then attached that to the Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon using some floss from my stash.  On top of the Basic Black background strip I created, I added a Ruby Red strip of Eyelet Border punched card stock.

PPA 8 Play Along!

KISS.  Keep It Simple, Sweetie. That is the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #7, beginning today! Create a simple card (or goodie box, scrapbook page), using minimal layers, stamps, embellishments.  Please play along-it's FUN!

I began with a Very Vanilla card base, layered on a piece of Melon Mambo. I then ran another piece of Very Vanilla through my Big Shot using the small dots Texturz Plate and trimmed the bottom edge with my Eyelet Border punch. I topped this with a Full Heart punchout of Melon Mambo decorated with dots and a sentiment and flourish that I snipped out of the Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel (also stamped in Melon Mambo onto Very Vanilla). I added this to the center of my card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Voila! Simple and, I think very cute! This card could say 'hello' or 'I'm sorry' very easily.
