Colorful CASE

Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going great so far. I CASEd this card from Mary Fish, my upline. She is a fantastic leader and inspires her entire large group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators every single day. Convention is coming up and over 50 of Mary's Stampin' Pretty Pals will be meeting in Salt Lake City to enjoy the festivities!

I could not help but like Mary's layout for her card and I loved how colorful she made it, too. I used some retired designer paper, Summer Smooches for the full summery effect. No worries, you could substitute any patterned paper and any of the elements and just use the "sketch" as inspiration! I actually sent this card to Mary to congratulate her on a goal achieved and to thank her for her helpful leadership of so many Stampin' Up! demonstrators!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week. Before I announce the winner of the card giveaway, I want to introduce my card for the day! 

I Pacific Point because it reminds me of the ocean and I live near the Pacific. The white on Pacific Point print on the bottom layer is from International Bazaar (retired) designer series paper. The next layer is from the Brights Stack (retired).

I used the cupcake liner (upside down) from Create a Cupcake. I stamped it in Pacific Point. The Happy Birthday cake is from Bring on the Cake. I used my Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker to color the candles, cake and stand. I used Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker to color the flames.

The sentiment "celebrate" comes from the Express Yourself (hostess) set. There are so many sentiments in that set, you will want to have it in your stash for some time to come. The script writing is so elegant!

Colorful Congratulations!

Happy Friday! I love my weekends and this weekend I get to help celebrate a young woman who graduated from college! I love the colors in Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper, so I began my card knowing I'd be using it. I decided to highlight Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo. My banners are made from two different patterns of the paper and one piece of 7/8" Cotton Ribbon that is stamped with an image from Mosaic Madness.

For the circle element of my card, I used a 1-3/4" Circle punch in Whisper White, which is matted with a Pumpkin Pie frame from the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die. I stamped the "congratulations" from the Express Yourself (hostess) set. I LOVE the script on the 12 sentiments from this set. I think they are festive and elegant. Underneath my stamped sentiment, I placed three Pumpkin Pie candy dots. SUCH and easy way to accentuate any card. They stick on just like our Basic Pearls and Basic Rhinestones.

Preview and Get Well Butterfly

When a friend isn't feeling well, I love to send a card to let them know I'm hoping they will be back to their game as soon as possible. I also like to have at least one on hand at any given time. Having sent one this week prompted me to get another into my supply.

This Daffodil Delight card looks pretty cheery to me and I'm hoping it will make someone smile when they aren't feeling so well.
