Bee Happy

Hi Blog Friends! I enjoyed making today's card. I used a lot of "tools." I had to smash a bottle cap and sand those Honeycomb ridges! I took one of Stampin' Up's Large Pop Tops and ran it through my Big Shot between two cutting plates. It came out a bit uneven, but that didn't stop me. I added a 1" circle after stamping an image from Collage Curios onto it in Sahara Sand. The script background was the perfect platform to place my bee, also from Collage Curios. Mr. Bee is stamped in Crumb Cake and colored using a So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker. He is popped up using a Stampin' Dimensional.

I placed my Pop Top in the middle of a banner that I snipped out of Parker's Patterns DSP. This print is so rich---it looks like a piece of moire ribbon. You can see my sanding on the Core-dinations Early Espresso Card Stock. The sanding part was actually fun, if a little bit messy. You can sand as little or as much as you like!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my creation. Please leave your comments below. Don't forget to check out my Promotions Page so you can learn all about Stampin' Up's great special deals!

Hearts a Flutter PPA151 Sketch!

Good Day! Thank you for checking our our Pals Paper Arts Challenge for this week. You will have TWO weeks to make your project and upload it to be eligible to be chosen as an Artist Pick! You can even upload more than one project if you are so inclined. We love to have you play along.

This sketch was fun! I loved substituting my hearts for the circles on the sketch. The small heart is stamped using the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and then die cut using the perfectly matching Hearts a Flutter Framelits! These sets make crafting a card so easy!

Thank you for looking today. I love to read your comments, so won't you leave one below? If you have any questions about my cards, please email me.
