Last Minute Perfectly Plaid Gift Tag

Quick tags using the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, a little Gold Embossing powder and the wonderful Woven Threads Trim.

By cutting the trim, you give it a totally different look and two pieces to use instead of one. The thicker width is adhered across the bottom of the tag and the thin piece was used as a garland to decorate the tree.

I hope you are inspired! By making and having tags available, there is a lot less stress when wrapping those last minute gifts!

Sneak Peek Watercolor Tags

No Peeking! I know some people have trouble not peeking or shaking or trying to guess what is in a package! I don't, but SOME people do ;-)  Well, give them a little help with these cute tags.

Meant for Christmas gifts (but they could be used any time) I watercolored them in Real Red (looks pink, right?) and Old Olive. I added some Black Vintage Crochet Trim and Old Olive 1/8" ribbon and they are ready to tie on a package.

My tag base is Watercolor Paper and I used Black Stazon and the Merry Little Labels stamp set. I perfectly punched the tag using the coordinating Everyday Label Punch.  You will be able to purchase the stamp set and punch in a bundle on September 1st.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a sneak peek of what will be coming out next month! Use my Online Store to order any time!

All of the patterns in the Home for Christmas Designer Series paper remind me of my childhood Christmases in the 60's. There are playful deer, snow-covered houses, candy stripes, old-fashioned ornaments, Christmas trees, holly and more!

I'm offering product shares of the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper, Real Red Pompom Trim, Home for Christmas Enamel Dots, Very Vanilla 1-1/4" Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon and Home For Christmas Designer Buttons.  The cost is $12 plus $5.25 shipping for a total of $17.25 (US Addresses only). I will fill up the "shares" in groups of four. Email me if you are interested, tell me how many shares you wish to have me send and I will put you on one of my lists. As I get groups of four, I will bill you. Products will be ordered after payment is received and shipped within a week of groups closing. Frozen Snowflake Tags

My nieces love the movie "Frozen" (I know, what kid doesn't?), so I made these gift tie-ons to match some snowflake paper on their Christmas gifts. The idea started with the package of "Frozen" Jelly Bellys that I split between two small cello bags.

The tags are Stars Framelit die cut from Wisteria Wonder and embellished with a silver foil snowflake that was in the November Paper Pumpkin. On top of the snowflake, I added an All Is Calm Snowflake. The charm has a Basic Pearl that I colored with a turquoise Sharpie. I tied it to the cello bag using a leftover piece of Silver Baker's twine also from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Thanks for looking today. I hope your holiday preparations are coming along just swell. Please leave me a comment--they really help me create!

Festive Flurry Garland

I used the Stampin' Up! Festive Flurry Ornament Kit to make a garland for a friend for Christmas. It contains 10 ornaments that may be strung together. I punched holes in two of the snowflake edges on each ornament and used Whisper White Baker's Twine to connect them. They stayed wherever I placed them on the string.

To keep the string from tangling inside the box, I wrapped each end around a die cut snowflake.

Tag It stamp set is the image I used here for the Santa Tag on the box. I made a pom pom for the top from the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

I hope you enjoyed my quick post today. Busy with making Christmas and family. I hope all of your plans are coming together for a Merry Christmas!

Vintage Tag for The Pals Paper Arts Challenge

Hello everyone! I am joining the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week, as the team leads us with this color challenge. I have been making tags for my wrapped packages that have stacked up!

Here I made a vintage looking tag using the Apothecary Accents Framelits, Large Oval, Medium Oval and Scallop Oval punches. I used my Stampin' Write Markers to color in an image from the Very Merry Tags stamp set. The "to" and "from" are also part of the same set. I gussied up my large oval by adding some Baked Brown Sugar Stretch Ruffle Trim. I colored my Whisper White Taffeta ribbon using a sponge dauber and my Rose Red ink pad.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired and I hope you are not harried this season! I always take time for myself to just sit and look at my decorated tree, listen to some Christmas music and have a cup of tea. It's important!

This year everything is finished early and I await my daughter and her family, who will join us from Hawai'i. What are your Christmas plans? Are you traveling or staying in town? I'd love to read your comments and plans below!
