Little Delights Veteran's Day Card

Erica Cerwin did a Facebook Live and showed how to make this card a couple of weeks ago. It is not a card I would repeat! It's very hard to get those strips lined up and glued down at the same time. I feel like it ended up a little lopsided, but I know our Veteran son will not care if it's a little crooked.

Truth be told, this was my THIRD attempt! I just couldn't figure out how to get those strips to stay on one side while I weaved and glued on the other. But, I'm glad I persevered because the result is very nice.

I used the purse strap from the All Dressed Dies, but you could cut your own strips of any width to accomplish the same pattern.

I call this a pocket card, and the inside panel is perfect for writing your own sentiment. I will be thanking our son for his continued service to our country. Do you have a favorite Veteran? Why not say "thank you" tomorrow?

Today is the day! Our brand new 2021-2022 Catalog is LIVE!! View the PDF here.
I made this fun Mother's Day card using new Pattern Party Designer Series Paper and a stamp set that is not new, Dressed To Impress. I love those stripes in the paper and also the matching animal print.

There are so many colors in the paper pack, and each one is backed with a black and white print. There are FOUR pieces of each design in the pack! (Total of 48 sheets) The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper is available to purchase for $18 only to a host with an order of $150 or greater. Sit down with your catalog and make your wishlist. I'm sure in no time you will have a qualifying order if you love this paper!

Fun Fold Perfectly Plaid Christmas Card

I recently had a Christmas Craft Time (in shifts over a 3-day period so there was much social distancing) and here is one of the cards I created for my gals to make. After picking out the prints from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper I  created from that point and added three trees across the belly band that were stamped from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.

Here is the inside of the card, where I stamped another sentiment and then another tree. The belly band has two trees in the background which are adhered right to the band and then one tree in the middle that is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment across the trees is cut out using the All Dressed Up Dies.

UPDATE: Here are the measurements for the Fun Fold Card that several people have asked for:

Card Base: 5-1/2" x 11"
Score at: 1-1/4", 3-3/8", 7-5/8", 9-3/4"

Belly Band 1" x 11" Fold around card after finishing. Trim if necessary.

White Insert:  4-1/8" x 5-3/8"

Two Matching Designer Series Paper Patterns: 2" x 5-3/8"
Two Matching Coordinating Designer Series Paper Patterns: 1-1/4" x 5-3/8"
(Optional: Two MORE coordinating pieces DSP 2" x 5-3/8" for inside panels).

Easter and Spring

Timeless Tulips Stamp Set

Using some scraps from my desktop, I cut these tulip blossoms. I stamped some steps and greens and then added a little "sign" across the middle with my sentiment.

All Dressed Up Dies

With signs of Spring everywhere, I'm hopeful that we will soon be able to gather and celebrate the season, even if our celebrations are a bit late this year. Stay healthy everyone, and have a blessed Easter. He is Risen!!
