CASEd directly from the demonstrator magazine Stampin' Success--Ta-DA! I loved the colors on this card and I liked creating my own "fringe" by hand using my Paper Snips. (The paper ribbon in the Occasions Catalog did not hold up to standards, so is unavailable for purchase but is SO CUTE!)
The Designer Series Paper is called Picture Perfect Party and comes in 6 x 6" pieces. At first I only bought the paper to use the non-photo sides, but after seeing so many beautiful cards made with the photo sides, I changed my mind!
Those wonderful Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins are SO easy to use! |
To make my fringe, I used a 1" wide piece of Bermuda Bay card stock which was scored lengthwise at 1/2". I crumpled the piece of paper up many times and unfolded and smoothed it out. This breaks up the fibers of the paper. I then snipped away until I had the right length, trimmed it and then cut it in half on the score line. (You have something to hold onto while snipping, and you have TWO pieces of fringe to use on two cards).
