Birthday With Bling

I can always use birthday cards! So when I needed a "bling" card, I decided to make it birthday-themed.

I began with the idea of using circles cut from Cherry On Top DSP, then added a 7/8" Scallop Circle. My flower is punched from Watermelon Wonder using the Fun Flower punch. I curled the petals upward for depth. I added some Mint Macaron leaves cut using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die (retired). To make my leaves sparkle, I added some strips of Basic Rhinestones.

My sentiment is from Tin of Cards and I stamped it using Tip Top Taupe ink. I punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch and framed it in Mint Macaron using the same punch, but cutting off the sides.

I placed all of my elements on a Whisper White background that is embossed using the Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I placed a piece of Natural Chevron Ribbon horizontally to divide the flowers from the sentiment.

What do you think? Is this a card you would love to receive? I'd love to read your thoughts. Thank you for visiting today!
