Birthday Shells and PPA Preview

Today's card was created because I wanted to create a background using one image in different colors. I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement of each shell in the colors Crumb Cake, Baked Brown Sugar and Chocolate Chip. I nearly had to dust off the Chocolate Chip, as I haven't used it in so long! The shell image comes from the stamp set By the Seashore.

The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment was created using two separate stamps from Memorable Moments stamped in Baked Brown Sugar ink.

You can't see the cute left side of the tag created using the Chalk Talk Framelits because my button (with Linen Thread "x") is covering it. I didn't have any smaller buttons left from Designer Natural Buttons :-(

I persevered and finished my card by placing the finished tag over a piece of 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon that I adhered across the bottom of the card front.

I am glad you came by today to see what I created. Please leave a comment--you are the reason I keep on blogging!

Your card really hit my eye with all those gorgeous shells and that burlap and button. I am going up to my cousin's on big Lake Huron for their house warming and 4th of July and this would make the perfect card for her. Thanks so much for sharing.
