Happy 91st Birthday, Neighbor!

I made this card for my neighbor, who turned 91 this week! At her age, I hope she celebrates every single day! She still gets out every day, mostly to call her cat and sit on her porch for a little Vitamin D and to talk with whoever happens by.

A special card deserves some special details. Here I used my Aqua Painter and a pool of Calypso Coral ink to color these roses from Apothecary Art. The leaves were done in Wild Wasabi ink and the background was done with Pink Pirouette. I made my own banner and stamped Happiest Birthday onto it and then clipped one end and scrolled the other.

Underneath my Labels Collection Die cut, I added banner that was shaped using the Banners Framelits. After I cut it out, I gave it some texture using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Down the middle I layered Crochet Trim and Natural Cotton Ribbon.
