Peaceful Petals Thank You

Ann Shach's February Lesson of the Month was another excellent teaching tool for this watercoloring newbie! I love her watercolor style and her teaching style! She is a retired teacher and you can tell she was a very prepared teacher. She gives you a full, printable tutorial as well as video links so you can see her making the cards she teaches every month. Plus you get a sample of each card. It couldn't be any easier and I am so thankful that I'm learning along the way. Ann has only a few spots left for her March Lesson of the Month, so if you are interested, stop by today!

You can tell that I'm a novice, as all of my petals are different, but I still keep improving. I love cutting out the blooms, since that means I can color outside the lines and not worry about it!

The blooms and stems were stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock versus water color paper, so they did curl up a bit due to getting wet. But I liked the effect--it made my card more
3-D! What do you think? I'd love to read your comments.

There are only a few more days to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration, where you receive a free item with EACH $50 purchase. Take advantage through March 31st.

If you are interested in getting started as a hobby or business Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, take advantage of receiving $150 in product (that you choose) for only $99! Offer good through March 31st. I'd love to have you join my stamping group! Details here.

Love the flowers. And of course they are all different, as they are in nature. Beautiful work.
