Creative Crew Gift for a Good Neighbor

Happy September! As usual, the year is flying by. I will be a very busy stamper in the months to come, as I have been invited to be on the Creative Crew of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from Splitcoast Stampers! (Direct link to this challenge below) That's a mouthful.

Each month the Creative Crew prepares four challenges for anyone to join in on any time during the month. My tenure on Creative Crew is September-December. The good thing is that I will have four cards/projects to also share on my blog and they will be shown each month during the first week.

Today's project is the celebration of Good Neighbor Day (Challenge Name: CCCREW0913SF) later this month. Again, I like that I'm prepared for the month at the end of the previous month by being a member of Creative Crew!

I made this folder that holds a pack of Post It notes for my neighbor, Sally. She is elderly and lives alone. I try and give her a wave, a visit and share a meal once in awhile. I know she will appreciate a handy note pad to keep in her purse or her car.

Inside I secured the Post It pad using Sticky Strip so it won't fall off. Two pieces of self-adhesive Velcro secure the folder closed. I used Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper on the outside. I only have this one print left since I used the rest of the prints up already! Birthday Basics will go down in history as being one of my very favorite packs of DSP ever!

Now that you have seen my project, I hope you will visit Splitcoast and see the rest of the entries! Maybe you will be inspired to play along! Also, consider leaving feedback here or on Splitcoast. I love to read each comment--very encouraging!
