PPA168- Sketch 4 You

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge--a sketch! I love this simple sketch and I tried to keep my items simple, as well. This card came together so quickly and it doesn't really require much explanation. The one thing I did that was creative, I think, was to cut the Trick Or Treat stamp from a circle punch instead of the shaped punch that I don't own!

Another thing I came up with is to take my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and make dots all around the word "OR." I just thought there should be a teeny bit more black in that area. The entire stamp from "Tags 4 You" was colored with Stampin' Write Tangerine Tango and Basic Black Markers instead of using ink pads.

One last creative thing I did was die my Whisper White Baker's Twine black! I just used my Stampin' Write Marker twisting and turning while coloring over a piece of scrap paper. I let it dry before tying it onto my Very Vintage Button.

I hope you notice the Sweater Weather DSP under my elements. It really looks like texture, but it's just a photo-like image--very clear!

What are some ways you have had to be creative to meet a challenge on one of your projects? Leave your answer in my comment section!

Thanks for looking today. Check out what all the other Pals did with this sketch by visiting our Pals Paper Arts Challenge Blog. Then play along!

Hi Patti! The houndstooth paper look fabulous but I adore the "black" bakers twine! Great tip as it make the button pop!

I love your card, Patti! Love how you punched your sentiment using the circle punch instead! It really adds some nice interest. Great idea too to add the black dots too! A tiny touch with a lot of great impact!
