PPA167 Color Challenge- CAS Sailin'

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week. The colors really seemed a challenge when looking at them together, but I think I really got to see what "challenge" means!

I'm in Hawai'i right now and I LOVE the ocean/sailing/breezy feel to this particular card. Not just the colors, but the stamps themselves, of course lend to the feeling. This will be a birthday card for a special birthday boy!

The photopolymer stamp set used here is called Settin' Sail. There really is a whole different feel to these stamps. They are completely clear, very clingy and a joy to work with. You can see right through them so you can correctly place them. Don't fault me for being just a little crooked with my sentiment! It happens, but it also lends to the home made character of a card. Also, those banners and they line they hang on are made in a straight line. I simply curved the images onto my clear block and stamped them in the shape I wanted them in! So fun!

Wow Patti....It takes a lot of precision to get that banner so perfect. I wouldn't have noticed the sentiment unless you said something. These colors absolutely ROCK! Have BIG fun in the Aloha state! Thanks for sharing!
